History major here. Do you honestly think that is an accurate portrayal of how society as a whole reacted? Because, wow... it's wildly inaccurate.

Woah...flex check.

You don’t think there are a lot of parallels with the way people react?

What's your beef with Mike's Hard Lemonade? Yeah, it's a girly drink, but the black cherry one isn't too bad.

I don't disagree that there are a lot of similarities in the reactions. My disagreement is that society largely just ignored the Black Death and went about life as usual. It resulted in wide sweeping societal changes.

well, psychology would say that he isn't comfortable with his masculinity to say something like that.

also sounds like a person who thinks they're never wrong, and will believe whatever the right's competition says.

I get that people don't want to be stuck in their homes forever, they want to be able to get back to a somewhat normal life. That's perfectly understandable. But damn, at least be responsible about it.

Its like I've said.  The longer this thing goes on, the less compliance you are going to get out of people.  The less concrete and realistic the goals of getting back to normal, the less compliance you are going to get out of people.

You can fight it all you want, but that's reality.

my new favorite thing is going to be seeing all of these reports of large gatherings / people going back to normal / having fun - only to never hear of any sort of mass outbreak or spike in numbers.

report after report, video after video, then silence. no mass outbreak or spike to follow. but before anyone can be called out, a new video will surface.

rinse, repeat. this thing is heading in a positive direction for the time and people are still trying to stir poo up and keep the misery going lmao.

I really wish the world was this pipedream. Sadly, it's not.

    • Do you see the vision?  As of now our Carolina Panthers don’t have an identity. We are not an offensive powerhouse and on defense we only started getting it together towards the end of the year last year. In my opinion we are much closer to having an incredible defense that scares the daylights out of people. I say the answer is simple and we fully commit to that possible identity.    Emmanuel McNeil Warren (E man)  This guy is like a shark lurking around ready to attack anyone. Fearless. He is easily a top 20 talent in my eyes, and the only reason he isn’t more talked about is because he’s from Toledo. Do your due diligence as panther fans and watch his tape I beg you. Once you’re done watching let me ask you this, if you dropped E - Man into the strong safety spot on the Buckeyes, he isn’t being talked about as one of the best prospects we’ve seen in some time given the skill set you see with this guy? I think so. Put his name on the card and turn it in at 19.    Jacob Rodriguez  High effort, High energy, High IQ guy that flies around the field. We all know Jacob at this point. My only concern is he’s a little bit too good and I’m not sure he makes it to us at our pick in the second. With the additions of Jacob and E- Man I think our defense goes to top 5 in the league. We would have a duo of linebackers that rival anything we’ve had in our past. I’m not a GM so I don’t know what the possible answer could be, but if there’s a way we can comfortably trade up in the second to secure this guy I think we find a way to do it.    Spend the rest of our picks fixing the O - line.    Thoughts Panthers fans? Who’s the ideal duo for yall?
    • OL is arguably much more important to the success of a young QB. (Or any QB)
