Cam Newton seems like a quintessential Raiders QB to me. I could aee Bruce Arians being very intrigued. And Newton's ties to new Skins coach Ron Rivera run very deep. Regardless, he won't be back in Carolina

Can't think of a QB treated worse by his team than Cam Newton.

He was a generational talented wasted with an archaic head coach and incompetent offensive coordinator. The team used him like a battering ram and constantly put him in position to take brutal hits and the refs let defenders do it. 

They never made protecting him a priority, either through playcalling or personnel acquisition. 

Cam has been done for over a year. Everything I've heard indicates he's at least 50/50 on retirement. But it's a joke how badly he's been treated by this organization.

btw the way the "allow to seek a trade" really means letting him figure out somewhere that will sign him to an extension.

Good luck. This is the most saturated I've ever seen the QB market. A real changing of the guard league wide.

I like Teddy. 27 years old. Joe Brady has experience with the offense Bridgewater is exiting. Yet you have to wonder whose plan this is. Whose process are they following? One to build for the future with patience, or one to identify a few band-aids & remain mediocre/competitive.
