Been following this team for four years now. I understand the love affair with Cam but many of you are living in the past. The guy is broken down and a shell of his former self. If you can't see the positives in this deal then there is nothing that can be said that will alter your blind love.

Not sure why everyone is freaking out.  I like the move and I do not think this means that the Panthers plan to unload Cam for whatever they can get.  They'd be better off paying two QBs if they can't get at least a 2nd round pick.

As far as losing fans, nobody went to your games last year. I wouldn't worry too much about that.

Probably giving up next year’s first to move up to 2 to draft Herbert because Ron emailed Marty about how much he likes Herbert.

Also, to anyone thinking this is a great deal.  Look at his entire body of work.  Anyone can look decent in five games - similar to Kyle Allen.  

It makes sense because he knows the system.

I feel pretty confident we're going to hear that Joe Brady was the main guy pushing for this.

As for the deal, I said earlier those numbers make me think he's a bridge quarterback.

It really is a stupid long term move, literally make zero sense if you are trying to build a winning football team.

Soooooo poorly run.

Payton is once again laughing at the Panthers.  He shows Tepper and Marty juuuuuuuuuust enough of TB last year to get them to take a big ole bite of that poo sandwich, and they did it.....good lord they did it.

And Sean gets a 3 out of the deal, and we likely lose a 3 comp pick along the way.

Unbelievably stupid.

This is beyond terrible in my opinion. It feels like management is intentionally running the team into the ground. I just don’t know what to say to this....
