I've lost belief in Tepper already. Rhule too. Best of luck to the greatest, most impactful player in Panthers' history, Cam Newton..

I wonder why Delhomme was treated way better than Newton was at the end of their times here.

I still remember his goodbye press conference and him sobbing like a baby.

Man, I don't even know what to say...

I remember back in the day when Ben Roethlisberger was going through sexual assault/rape allegations.  And of ALL the bad aspects of those issues from either side you want to approach from, I never remember a single person saying "Gosh, I just don't think Ben can mentally handle playing QB right now with all the issues surrounding him right now."

I didn't give a sh-t whether Roethlisberger could handle the mental strain.

I wanted him in jail where it wouldn't be an issue.

Well, that's all well and good and I'd find myself having a hard time disagreeing with you, but that has nothing to do with the point I was making.

Maybe the inept, soulless, and unprofessional way that it was done?

A tad unprofessional but you're stretching there with adjectives.  Given Cam's response, things were obviously discussed before the lackluster "statement" by the team.  Should've had a nice long write up first explaining our move and love for Cam so yeah, cruddy optics, but I mean, as Foxy would say, it is what it is.

I haven’t been a fan of Tepper from day one, I have never liked Bridgewater and I’m unsure about Rhule, so......:I will just sit back and watch.  Hopefully they don’t win many games next season and we get a good draft position.

The Panthers PR dept. definitely dropped the ball on this situation.

Cam has been the face of this franchise for almost a decade.

Not cool.

Imagine the roller coaster for the racists today. Getting rid of one black quarterback just to sign another. The only good thing about this situation.

And maybe a lot of people who aren't racists but tagged as one because they don't like certain things Cam did or did not do will be left alone.

Probably though, if they dare complain about Bridgewater, they are racists. Lord.

Lol the 7 stages of cam fanboy depression begin, shock and denial done, pain and guilt now onto pain, guilt and anger

typival post for someone who only followed the Panthers because of cam and clearly were waaaaaaay too (and very creepy) emotionally attached

he was injured, hasn’t played a game in a long time and the pa theta just revamped everything. What other than this eerie creepy obsession with one play possibly told you he was going to stay? Think about it thnx

How long has OP been a fan. Cam was a top 5 Panther of all time, but not the greatest. Don’t disrespect the likes of Julius Peppers, Steve Smith, Jordan Gross, Ryan Khalil, etc. I’m sad Cam is gone but this was expected. Anyone saying otherwise is being overly biased. We have no idea how this will turn out. NONE of us have NFL front office experience but voice our opinions like we have the right to. Half of you aren’t even PSL owners so you don’t even have stale in the team to feel privileged enough to warrant any complaint. All I’m saying is let this play out we have only our second owner in team history. We are on only our 5th coach in team history. We’ve only had a glimpse of what is to come and I for one am waiting to pass judgment instead of making fool hearted accusations. Enjoy the Panthers, don’t give the business man any reason to take pro football from the Carolinas.
