words like liberal and conservative and republican and democrat, left or right are man created labels for simple minded people who absolutely have to put people into boxes in order to be for or against something and anyone who says otherwise is neutrals and they’re to be laughed at by all. it simplifies complex issues for morons so they can figure out how they’re to think about it

getting rid of parties and having people run on their own merit would be one of the greatest achievements and milestones this country has ever had

they talk about a black president, a woman president, a gay president...but this is what will never happen though and will mean the most

This site has become so dang liberal. Impossible to have any conservative viewpoint in any thread without getting ridiculed and called a racist

sorry we're not a safe space for racism anymore

I think Its more of taking a back seat because he has never experienced what they are protesting against.  You dont always have to lead sometimes its better to listen and learn from others. Maybe if more people asked "hey, what do you need from me?" Instead of just assuming they know best a lot of issues would be resolved.

Sounds like a good way to have people take advantage of you and use you as a door mat. Sometimes people are their own worst enemy and need to stop blaming others for their problems

so in this situation, care to explain who you think is their own worst enemy and blaming others for their problems?

Anyone who blames others for their problems.  I literally said it

Anyone or some people?  You "literally" said some people.

perhaps you are right tho, murder victims should really take responsibility for themselves. Or maybe victims of abuse, or crime, or brutality, or...

Didnt know murder victims could come back to life and blame someone for murdering them that's quite the theory

And I said some people because not everyone blames others for their *own* problems

Obviously if someone is raped chances are they didnt do anything to deserve to be raped.

(Using this as an example. Not the point I was trying to make or the conversation I'm trying to have but ya know, huddle gonna huddle)

Murder is a little different. Definitely depends on the circumstance and *why* were they murdered. The victim definitely could have deserved it or did something dumb to place themselves in harm's way that cost them their life.

Does that clarify things enough for you?

So let me ask.  Do you think that Black Americans need to stop blaming the police for the brutalization their communities face?  Because that is what you implied.

Gonna laugh my ass off when all of you childish, half-wit Robespierre's finally get your turn under the guillotine.

And you will.

You may even succeed in ERASING the history that wounds your tender feelings, but don't disabuse yourself of the notion that it won't repeat itself... it always does.
