First I have to say I’m super pissed that pre season is canceled , we don’t get to see pj , any rookies and we won’t find that break out player for get a chance to see how our teams going to be this summer . With a new coach it works in our favor , no one will know how to defend us because they seen 0 tape on us . New qb new offense and new coach we can catch these teams by surprise and really do some damage .

Yea im sure teams that have practiced together for years like tampa, new orleans, and atlanta, (our entire division) will struggle on offense and ours will take them by surprise!

No pressure season means the first month of football  will be sloppy.

I'm excited about our young defense that no one, even here is giving any hope for.

History bodes well for veteran offenses and young defenses.

How soon people forget, or just don't know.

Atlanta and New Orleans yes, but they will have to implement a whole new offense to fit Brady in Tampa

Virtually all of our opponents will have a talent advantage. All of them will have coaching experience advantages.

They have virtually every advantage on paper, but fights aren't fought on paper.

Sometimes it'd be a lot less painful if they were though.

Folks, we're not built to compete this year. Tepper and Rhule have been trying to warn you of that with all the talk about a five year plan.

    • TBQH, Jackson is performing almost as well as Horn in terms of coverage. So, although the scheme we run doesn't always allow Horn to be at his best, it does make things easier on others and it has proven to be pretty effective in coverage more often than not. His defense overall is designed to stress the QB's decision making.  The biggest complication has been one of the worst front 7 units in the NFL and at times, in the history of our franchise. But, Evero also deserves a pretty healthy chunk of the blame for that because several of these bums have been publicly stated to be "Evero guys."  The front seven has to produce a lot of pressure itself and has to be very disciplined in run support. Those are two areas that have generally been quite bad.  It's not really the scheme. It's the fact that we have so many bums on that side of the ball and/or play guys in positions we have no business playing them. Again, Evero does get some blame for a chunk of that.
    • There are probably dozens of folks on here that were saying that pre draft, I mean there are receipts,  if you want to get into it go for it but you know there were a ton of folks that were screaming his college production was all a sham.  Being the "truth" at alabama doesnt really mean jack fuging poo in the nfl.  And the proof is in the pudding as they say. But this poverty ass franchise seems to be content to roll with this shitty midget for 2 more years
    • I agree he's way too inconsistent right now. I even said he isn't a franchise QB because of it. This whole back and forth is because someone said they could tell Bryce wasn't gonna be a good pro based on how he played in college. And that ain't true. This whole arm issue, not throwing deep and too small to pass over the middle was not an issue in college. Dude was the truth. Obviously all great college players don't become great pros. But in my opinion that's usually either a guy that doesn't have a good work ethic, does dumb stuff outside of football or goes to the wrong team.
