Eagles have made it clear they won’t extend him after this season.  He got into a huge argument with the GM this week on the practice field and voiced his frustration.  Had a good game today but a crucial drop at the end of the game.  
 

He is only 30 and one hell of a football player.  It wouldn’t shock me to see the Eagles try and trade him early on.  Would you give up a 4th or 5th rounder ?  Hell I would.

Ertz is still a good player and would definitely be an asset to our passing game.

 If we can sign him to a reasonable multi-year deal after the trade it would definitely be deal worth considering.  I'd hate to give up a draft pick only to see him walk at the end of the season.  I wonder what his contact demands are.

He’s under contract for 2021 as well. I’d definitely trade a day 3 pick for him. Great TE, receiving and blocking. I think it would take more than that though.

Perhaps because this one is discussing a player potentially (if only minimally so) joining the team at a position of need. Cam is not on the team and will not be; his current performance is not Panthers-relevant. If Cam ends up involved in anything Panthers-relevant, say makes comments about Carolina or his charitable work I'm Charlotte, I bet that is left here.

On topic I could see Philly moving Ertz but I don't think a Day 3 pick will do it. He'd be a solid addition assuming that his attitude is good but perhaps TE isn't a position of emphasis in this new offense.

Would not give up more than a 5 or 6, because he is going to command a pretty large extension. 

 

I think smart money is on us holding pat and letting our books clear. Regardless if we move forward with Teddy or a rookie QB next year our QB position will be relatively cheap. That's when you go all in and spend like crazy putting a team around them. Ertz or another decent tight end may be available at that point anyways.

      Yea, its a awful year for COY there's like 5 coaches Id as a  non-panther fan say are more worthy than Dave. Ben Johnson is doing similar to Dave by taking a yearly loser into a winner, but da bears are what 9-10 wins right now. Liam Coen has the fuging jags at 9-4 with similar talent to Panthers, I mean they drafted before them this pass year and had nearly zero from a guy they traded up for @#2 hunter.  ugh....Sean Payton&vance has the broncos as the current #1 seed in the AFC..... you know the broncos before the year starts you have the chiefs with mahomes&reid and chargers with herbo&harbs. No one had broncos winning there nor as a the #1 overall seed.  Mike Macdonald has the Seahawks at 10-3 compare that to Panthers 7-6, they are in a blood bath against Rams and 49ers.....shanny has half the team on IR with a 9-4 record.  Chargers are 9-4 with no OL and not much on D.  I have even put colts above Dave and the Panthers, if not for Danny injury...they were on the way and playing great. Just soooooooooooo many HC deserving this year and still more games, but Dave has over played this year for sure. I had them at a firm 2 win team, with 4 being the maybe and 7?!?!?!? being the everything goes right 7 wins is possible given the shitty NFC south.

      He did everything right but catch the ball. Kept his hands out in front, palms away from his body, watched it in, and then dropped the dam ball! Text book up until he dropped it.

      Just try to enjoy it for what it is. I don't need to convince myself that Young is good. He isn't. If this team makes the playoffs with the cinder block of Young dragging them down all season, even better.  But, some crucial things still need to happen, and being close, and moral victories, and at-least-they-tried isn't good enough.
