Sewell (legit day 1 LT), Parsons (a complete, explosive ILB), Rousseau (stud defensive end), and J’Marr Chase (would do wonder to our offense).

Parsons makes the most sense.  He would make a lot of other players  better.  Just wish his first name were "Alan" so we could call him a project.

Parsons, Sewell or Rousseau.

Okung is basically a stop gap and I assume we’ll end up paying Moton. It would sure be nice to finally have two competent tackles starting for us. Plus the cost of LT’s these days is massive.

Parsons is probably my favorite of the 3 to watch though. He can do it all and is explosive as hell. Him and Shaq would make a nice duo with Chinn roaming around as well.

Rousseau makes sense if it becomes clear that Burns does not fit and/or YGM isn’t who they thought he was. Even if both guys pan out it’s never easy to pass up on a guy like Rousseau if he was available but with other glaring weaknesses and Parsons and Sewell potentially there, it becomes easier.

That corner from Bama will probably be in play for us as well.  If not trevor than get Sewell and be done with it

We are the anti media darlings

We are not even on the radar screen.  I listen to a lot of national shows, and based on Monday, you wouldn't even know the Panthers exist (which also goes to show how little they care about the Raiders).

But that's okay. We're back to where we were from 1995-2010:  Win, and they'll start paying attention.

With you on these.  My big board:

1.  Lawrence. (QB Clemson) Even if Teddy plays well, you take the QB and trade Bridgewater.  A team like Indy would be interested.

2. Sewell (LT, Oregon).  As much as I really like Parsons, Sewell has near perfect technique and no weaknesses in his game.

3. Parsons (MLB, Penn St)  My heart wants Parsons because he is a great football player that would make an immediate and dramatic impact.

4. Rousseau. (DE, Miami)  You can never have enough pass rushers, even if Burns works out.  Rousseau is a better fit, and you could probably trade Burns for a good player or high pick.  Even if we are left with YGM, Burns, and Rousseau---that is a solid rotation coming at you.

5T. Farley (CB, VaTech) a shutdown CB with sub 4.4 speed at 6-2.  Will be top 10.

5T. Chase. (WR, LSU) A WR?  hear me out.  Samuel is in a contract year and could be gone.  Anderson, Moore, and Chase with CMC in the backfield?  3 weapons that would make defending the pass nearly impossible.

I’m sure some will hate this discussion but the NFC East playing the AFC North is really helpful because that means Washington, NY, Cleveland and Cincy all have 4 games against each other. Jets might be the biggest comp but they get Miami x2, Cleveland, LV at home and the Chargers. We’re done with LV and have Washington, Chargers and Lions and only the Lions at home.

Right on queue, here’s a new ESPN article that has us at pick 3 behind Cincy and the Giants: https://www.espn.com/nfl/draft2021/story/_/id/29682741/projected-2021-nfl-draft-order-no-1-pick

Not sure I agree especially since Cincy plays the Giants so someone has to win and they also still have Cleveland x2, Jax, Washington and Miami. That’s 6 more possible wins. Also, maybe a resting Baltimore week 17. Our week 17 against NO is also a potential pitfall although you’d hope we wouldn’t be stupid if we were in position. Giants probably are more of a threat but playing Washington twice and Cleveland/Cincy helps.

Oh well, still a long ways away as I don’t think we are a bad team, just don’t have an easy division or schedule.

If this were to happen, but for a trade up (which is possible), we'd be in line to get the golden-haired wonder!

Yep I included Chase in my initial post about the other 3. I’m sure Brady will be banging the table to get Chase back in his offense.

Anderson and Moore compliment each other really well. Samuel is going to need to show that he can catch the ball this season but like I said the day we drafted him, his hands are an issue and typically guys with issues catching the ball at this point, aren’t ever going to fix that. He’s not a natural hands catcher.

Also worth noting that Parsons, Sewell, Rousseau, Chase and Farley have all opted out. Hoping a team falls in love with a riser or two that plays this season pushing one of these guys down to us if we end up winning a few more games than expected.
