Let’s look at not just yardage for same list (total TDs and INTs):

Allen - 7 TDs and 0 INTs

Ryan - 6 and 1

Prescott - 5 and 0

Bridgewater - 1 and 2

Wilson - 9 and 1

Teddy is a bridge and just OK. He’s not going to lead us back like Prescott did against Atlanta. Ryan is 0-2 as well but because of Prescott and a bunch of morons on onside return.

Not that I wanted CMC hurt, but I mentioned him as an injury concern because we are so shallow all over. It will be extremely interesting to me to see this offense without him and without teams keying on him.

Thanks guys

It’s not hatred although I’d much rather have the cap space and have Clausen, I mean Weinke, oops I mean Grier steering us to the promised land. It’s trying to slow the roll of the Teddy can take us to the SB talk. He can’t unless we build him a Ravens SB D and running game. How many SBs do you think that Ravens D wins with a Roethlisberger or Peyton or maybe Lawrence instead of winning just one with a mediocre Flacco? If we can build a team to win around Teddy then we’d have a multi-year contender with Lawrence or Fields/Lance if you like.

Don’t get it, Igo. Teddy is a back end starter at best. We have a chance to get a franchise guy, maybe the top prospect since Luck.  It’s an odd take to have.

It really is. I still love the but we can build a solid team around him. Well, why not build the same solid team around a better QB who can maybe win you games when your D isn’t playing well? It’s as if the decision is Teddy and studs vs Lawrence and scrubs. Makes no sense when Lawrence comes at a much cheaper cost for 5 years. Something like $40-50M in cap savings. We could extend Moton for 4 years and have Lawrence or dump Moton and have Teddy.

Whats the point in hating everything about teddy? If you say one nice thing about him the hate flows.  Igo is trying to put focus on this season, not next

No. That would be the extreme effort of those trying to make Teddy into something he will never be. Sort of like when Kyle Allen was the man to lead the Panthers to the playoffs. That was some spot on reporting there.

I agree, but also picking and choosing stats like this to say "Teddy is the man" is also quite hilarious. I really like Teddy, but the first 2 weeks have not been very encouraging for his long term prospects here in Carolina.

Why is it “hating” to call him a back end starter. That’s exactly what he is. Maybe you and Igo can come up with a list of things people can and can’t say.

“Hating” is the huddles term for giving informed opinions that come true. But you don’t want the truth. You want someone to tell you everything is alright no matter how bad it gets.
