Is Robby Anderson already the best FA WR in team history?

Willie Green stood at 6’4 and almost 200 pounds when he played. Green came to the Panthers as a 29 year old free agent with four years of experience. During his two years as a Carolina Panther he caught 93 passes for 1496 yards, and 9 touchdowns.

Green and Mark Carrier combined for a little over 3,400 yards and 18 touchdowns by themselves. These two really helped hide some of Kerry Collins’ deficiencies as a passer and led the Panthers to their first winning season and playoff win in 1996.

I'll say Ted Ginn just because he was a weapon for two of our most successful seasons. 2015 and 2013.

Robby may take the top spot before the season is over but too early to call that now, what I like about him is he has that dog in him, he just makes plays look at the bad Qbs he had with Jets but was still productive.

1. Ted Ginn Jr. 2015: 44 catches, 739 yards, 10 Tds.

2. Patrick Jeffers 1999: 63 catches, 1082 yards, 12 Tds.

3. Robby Anderson 2020: 20 catches, 278 yards, 1 Td.

As far as I am concerned, we don't have a #1.  Don't need one either.  We have 1a and 1b.  And that is the way it should be.  Anderson gets more catches, DJ has more yards per catch.

Anderson could end up being one of our best free agent pickup's ever, regardless of position.  But its to early to tell at this point.

Thats a name I've not heard in a long time

He had a heck of a season. It would have been huge if the Panthers lucked up week 17 and got into the playoffs with that offense we had. But Mike Ditka and ole Jake Delhomme spoiled it for us.

The Panthers and Packers were keeping tabs on the score in each others game because point differential was the tie-breaker that year to determine who got in. Favre and Beuerlien had a duel and they weren't even on the same field. We destroyed NO that day but they scored just enough to keep us out.

This 1000x this. Both have over 1k seasons, it means we had a good season offensively. Really wanna see the offense be able to spread the ball around and make the opposing defense have to work for their money rather than shut down CMC and watch us grind to a halt, or have the offense be limited to 1-2 guys realistically. If, and its a big if we can get some production from the TE's we could be pretty unstoppable on offense.

It didn’t matter, because the Cowboys won and the Lions had a tiebreaker over the Panthers. If we shut out the Saints in that wild weekend, we’d still have been 7th.

Ahh yes, I forgot Ginn. The man who giveth and the man who taketh away. Where were you when this happened?

That play probably takes the cake for being the loudest i've ever yelled an expletive at a TV screen before. That game in general took years off my life; the dropped picks, tds, given up lead, then that fail. Absolute miracle we won that game.

Remember this play like it was yesterday.

When I saw how open he was and the ball being literally dropped right into his arms I walked off with a celebratory fist raise.

Then I remembered it was Ted fuging Ginn so I looked back and sure e-fuging-nough he dropped the ball.

My fist raise turned into me placing it agsinst the wall as I leaned against it and screamed.
