Falcons starting safety Damontae Kazee tore achilles. They already had one of the worst defenses in the league before his injury. That is likely the end of his career. That injury is not one a safety comes back from often.

Took a head shot while Cam was sliding. Wasn’t even close. Hard to blame him, the league had set the standard by not flagging head shots on Cam for years.

Overreaction... Will definitely have a big effect on his career and it's possibly the "end" but I wouldn't say that's "likely." Hasn't Richard Sherman come back from a couple achilles injuries? Even harder for a corner to come back from than a safety...

I even find it hard to wish ill to the bad guys. And for that moment at least, he was one of the bad guys. I hope he recovers well and that it changes some attitudes he has.

Yep, said it on the game thread when it happened. The way he went down, where he grabbed, and how he reacted I would've been shocked if this wasn't the case.

Sherman was elite pre-injury, and teams had all the incentive to give him benefit of the doubt during his extended recovery. Kazee is pretty whatever, and will have a lot less rope for an injury that commonly requires multiple years to really be at 100%.
