well we got a football next week and a whole bunch more after that.... how many QBs you think are going to gift us like Penix did going forward? I'd say not many. Likely none. So, yeah, reality of what we are still matters. Unless Penix is going to take the field Sunday and lay an egg in New England our bad offense is still what we need to see get on track and show improvement. -
Hey, that’s a cool clip! maybe check out Jake Delhomme, who also is on Panthers payroll (and happened to play the same position as Bryce at a highly competitive level) and see what he had to say about yesterday’s game on the post-game radio show. He literally said “not trying to be a debbie downer” but, said that Bryce and the offense left a ton of plays out there on the field and a lot to be desired. He focused on the same shortcomings that most objective observers (of our QB position) have been stating ad nauseam. He wasn’t overly celebratory or doing any of the glazing that Al and most of the paid endorsers are doing. Most would feel Jake’s tone and message was quite negative, but in reality, it’s just the truth.
