What do y’all think of Phil Jurkovec at BC? He’s a redshirt sophomore so he’s draft eligible but I haven’t seen if he’s considering it. What round would you take a chance on a prospect they’re calling the next Big Ben?

They’re calling him that because he “looked up to him.” I wouldn’t take him until the 5th round tops. Maybe even later.

Also because they’re similarly built and tough to bring down.

There's a far better chance these 2nd tier prospects will end up like Haskins, Darnold or Rosen than actually outperforming  Bridgewater. Whatever metrics or grades you'll find on these players, I guarantee you, Darnold or Mayfield or a half dozen other QBs Teddy is outplaying, graded higher coming out of college. I will never understand this desperation to draft a qb no matter what. We could get a day 1 impact MLB or offensive lineman.

We could also, just as likely, draft a bust at lineman. We’ve been bad about developing an offensive line for like 12 years.

I’ve seen a few mocks with Wilson going in the back of the first round.

Mahomes was the third QB drafted. He turned out okay. Herbert was the third QB drafted this year and is looking very good. Josh Allen was the third QB drafted and he's looking good.

Way too early to assume where we’ll pick. This is the time where you ignore draft order and just see who you like in the college ranks IMO.

Highly disagree with many in this thread.
