Chiefs had a staff member test positive for COVID-19. The Chiefs practiced this morning, but will hold virtual meetings this afternoon with the facility closed. #CARvsKC is still on track to be played on Sunday. twitter.com/Chiefs/status/…

Last time Carolina was in town was mere days after the Jovan Belcher (KC linebacker) murder/suicide as well, putting the game in question. The game ended up being played and we lost to their Brady Quinn-led Chiefs squad. 

This is not really a comparable situation but just making an observation.

Patriots had to play the Chiefs without Cam, in some weird twist of fate, Mahomes gets COVID just before the game against Cam's former team.

Thanks for that awful memory, they won all of 2 games that year and straight drug us through the dirt. It was almost as bad of a game as one with Weinke at qb.

I was there repping my Sam Mills jersey, my brother in his Smitty. On the way back to the car some fans were heckling us asking how it felt to lose a crappy team and I responded with, "Almost as bad as it feels to be a Chiefs fan." Had a lot of expletives tossed at us after that.
