Watch Hill actually lead this team to a Super Bowl because 2020.
Peytons love affair with Hill make me suspicious. Peyton is an a-hole but he isn’t stupid. Maybe he sees something in Hill other than a gadget player or Jamie’s Winston is somehow worse. I don’t see how.

I would say he doesn't trust Winstons decision making. I mean damn 2020 has been a bad year for even the saints.

I wonder if this would be a possibility.  Teddy showed he could run Payton's offense.

Personally I seriously doubt they would because they had the chance to keep him and decided Hill was a better option.  Plus making a deal within the division is not common.

The fact the Saints didn’t resign Teddy and yet gave Hill a new contract is one of the reasons I don’t trust Teddy as a long term option.
If you don’t get resigned after “leading” (It was mostly the Saints defense playing like a top 5 unit) to 5-0 while you played QB and they instead pay a gadget QB/TE then there is something you do the Saints don’t like for a long term QB. Just a theory.

Yeah, I agree.  Probably happy they won those games but gave the defense more credit than TB.

There was a video on YouTube back when we first signed him talking about Teddy’s success in NO and how most of the credit need to be given to the defense. It said when Brees was in they were averaging giving up about 350 yards of total offense. While when Teddy was in they averaged giving up under  300 yards of total offense.
One game I alway come back to, showing how much the defense helped Teddy, is the Seattle

game last year. The score was 33-27 Teddy threw for 180 yards and 2 TD, both were short shovel passes at the endzone in the 5 yard line, if I remember correctly.  The defense scored points and Kamara did his thing. I figured out that if the defense hadn’t of played well that game the Saints would have lost 27-24. Teddy is a QB that needs a really good defense to succeed and keep his team in games. Because, as we have seen this season, he isn’t winning games on his own.

The game that epitomized how much the Saints defense carried Teddy is when they gave up over 500 yards and 4 TDs to the Seahawks?

I bet the son of a bitch plays this year. He says he is aiming for week 14. Not a fan of his, but he is pretty tough.

That may well happen and I'm afraid for the guy's life. It's just a game and a guy has to be smart enough to say, "That's enough, I've got a family that needs me to be with them."

He's got all the records, or almost, and a first ballot HoF spot, a SB ring, tons of money. It's time to just put it away while he can still enjoy it.
