Yep.  Morrow is the one really doing the grunt of the scouting.  Hurney & him are tight and I imagine is the trusted scout.  Completely assumptions but I think Morrow's involvement is probably important to Hurney's success & failures.

Being "tight with Hurney" may not matter so much as being "tight with Matt Rhule" these days.

Pat Stewart only got here this year and has less experience than Morrow, but he's being talked about as the next GM. Morrow isn't.

Why dont you tell us? You said a long time ago his role has been diminished and Rhule is running things but real quick to bring Hurneys name up when something goes south.

We knew who Chinn was but probably didn't think he would be there. I had him going mid to late 2nd  and he was my sleeper pick of the draft. I was ecstatic when he was selected. I must say I was shocked we actually selected a safety.

Yeah that's not what I'm speaking to, you're not picking up what I'm putting down.  I'm referring to the idea that Hurney isn't and hasn't been a one man show. 

Expect a scouting dept. transition along with Hurney when he's "demoted"

He needs to be expelled and the scouting department rebuilt. McD took some good front office people with him to Buffalo and it's paying dividends. We need a fresh face and new people. Good people.

Hurney decides who's in the Scouting department.

That, plus a lot of Hurney's biggest mistakes have been times when he ignored the scouting department and went on a hunch of his own.
