Predict the score tonight

Recommended Posts

Just curious, why do people keep predicting blowouts? In 13 weeks, what have you seen to keep predicting we'll get blown out every week? Our worst loss of the season against the Bucs, we lined up for a 2 point conversion with 11 minutes left in the game with a chance to make it a 7 point game, then it unraveled at the very end. We have never been dominated start to finish, not even close. Maybe it's funny and somehow makes you feel good to create the illusion that we're the Jets, but our identity has consistently been a scrappy competitive team with too much of a talent discrepancy to consistently win. I don't think we'll see anything different tonight. I'd be far less surprised if we win than if we get blown out. I'm guessing something like 34-24, where we come up short on a 4th quarter drive to tie it, and Green Bay kicks a meaningless field goal with like 90 seconds left to make it a 2 possession game.

you serious clark?

Yes. How badly did we get blown out by the Chiefs in Kansas City or against New Orleans with a healthy Brees? Do you watch the games? I guess we'll see whose prediction comes up closer and then we can all laugh about how stupid one of us is.

That was a long time ago and with Cmac.

Spread is 9.  thats a lot in the NFL.  This is going to be brutal.

I predicted a blowout because 1) Rogers, 2) Weather, 3) Rookie wall. Even so, I think it's fairly close the first half...within a score. I also wouldn't be surprised to see the Panthers hang pretty close given Rhule's emphasis on teaching them to win in December.
