I would not pay a huge amount of attention to the talking heads, when one of them has someone dropping, the rest soon follow suit.  And most of the time, they have no clue

The talking heads do not have the same information as past years, poo throwing was the normal at times, but it may reach all-time levels with the coming draft. Still have no clue on medicals, team combines, if 30 player vist will be allowed(doubt is high with zoom zoom) etc etc. Its a newworld for everyone, including how to scout players. I think the biggest advantage would be older scouts that have worked hard at establishing truthful relationships with coaches, strength coaches, and other scouts. Lies will be everywhere and its much harder to find the truth.

What if Cam Newton was in this draft, he'd be anywhere form if he sat out this past year too. Like #2 overall to undrafted pool.

Fields is dropping, Lance is a project QB, and Wilson has had major injuries to his shoulder and hand.  Parsons is ranked 3 on this list, if he is available when we pick, it should be a no brainer.

You’re getting poo’d but youre right.

We clearly need an upgrade at QB but if the right guy isnt there why waste a Top 10 pick and pray he pans out when we also have a clear need at MLB and theres a guy that could lead our defense for a decade there?

there are more ways to get a QB than having a Top 10 pick. Id much rather have the cant miss MLB who could very well be the missing piece to an elite defense than picking a QB with a bunch of question marks (all of them except Lawrence have them) and hoping it’s “the guy”

Lol Some of yall are just afraid of drafting a QB period unless it's a spotless prospect which doesn't exist, just admit it sheesh

Life is a risk and football ain't that serious anyway, please stop being so afraid bc these signing bonuses for players literally aren't coming outta your pocket despite what you tell yourselves

Was he an actual falling star or was he looked at as a risk by everyone but Hurney who considered him a falling star bc that's more what I remember

There's different kinds of falling stars.

Lotulelei was the kind that fell because something scared people off. Those can be about 50-50.

The other kind are the problem. Those are the ones that everybody else's scouts and personnel people have graded low, but we've graded high. With them, it generally doesn't take long to determine why everyone else was passing, and what it was we missed.

The Panthers have had the first kind maybe once or twice, but the second kind several times.

With Marty gone, maybe it changes. That's the hope, at least.
