Sincere? No idea. A lot of 'apologies' these days boil down to "sorry I got caught" or "sorry I got a negative reaction".

Would say though that if he did come to an understanding of how this video makes him look bad, that tells me at least he's not a complete idiot.

The public apology is just for more attention seeking. A sincere apology would be done in person or the very least over the phone. Typing up some poo means nothing and isn't genuine. Hes just trying to get people  to know his name. Lil brat

I'm not sure he's sincere, but to be fair it's not like he can just go over and knock on Cam Newton's door or call him up.

Honestly, this might have been the best thing for Cam. When the kids you are empowering tell you you arent great, a free agent. That stings more than a team cutting you.

he's a young underprivileged kid at a football camp. were people expecting a harvard application essay? 

the fact it was written on a notes app and probably had general guidance from a coach but not edited by anyone suggests the kid sincerely feels like an asshole and wants to make it right. people who probably did far dumber poo at that age are being awfully cynical about this

Cam should have and this would not have gotten any air time.  Generally Cam is very good with this type of thing and Cam Newton doesn't have to answer to anyone, especially some kid.  His career and pocket book speaks for itself.

Sorry bro, I live in the school district where this kid plays football and trust me he isn't underprivileged.  The school he goes to is also one of the best high schools in Pennsylvania.

I am not saying that he isn't being sincere though.

Also, he won't be an NFL player.  He's a good player on a small high school team.

Unfortunately the disrespect the kid showed Cam won't fix that shoulder.

Ron and Marty owe Cam an apology for the atrocious offensive lines they put in front of him during most of, if not all, his career here.

well, comment still stands - kid seems sincere to me - worth giving him the benefit of the doubt.
