They have more draft capital but less capital overall. Depends how far we are willing to go.

Or Deshaun doing his research and wanting to come play in Charlotte. We’ve got weapons galore, Joe Brady and Rhule. We’re an up and coming team, and having the chance to build something could appeal to him.

They have those QB's, but does Houston like either of those guys? Are either of those teams willing to be as aggressive as the Panthers? Is Houston willing to trade within the AFC, or do they prefer to an NFC team?

How can we build something if we have to trade away the next 3 drafts to get him?

Who cares what are u getting with some of those picks, it’s always an unknown. Deshaun is not an unknown and he is just going to be 25 this year. Damn do y’all just want to keep getting shitty qbs and being mediocre. I don’t care what it takes get him here. Tepper is fixing to finally show all y’all his brass balls!!!!!!

Next 3 drafts?  If you mean by tradi g the next (3) 1st rounders, then yes you can still build in rounds 2-7 and we have a good amount of cap space next year in free agency.

The Rams have not had a 1st round pick since selecting Goff 5 years ago, that is a really good team that has also played in a super bowl in that span.

Both those teams are also in position to draft those much better QBs coming out of college, allowing them to keep those draft picks for themselves

      Any idea what happened to him at LSU? im reading that he was considered a 1st round pick in 2023, had an off 2024 season with only 4 sacks but was also on a horrible FSU team then went to LSU where he was supposed to be on an aggressive defense that should have given him a lot of sacks but he only ended up with one….   was he injured? Did the top SEC competition expose him? What happened? Cause this guy was considered a top prospect .

      Sometimes its fun to read the threads/posts.  The panthers could literally hire a groundskeeper and we'd have a thread "improving the field for no other reason to prop up Bryce Young".  Apparently no move is ever done to actually make the team better.  All a conspiracy to just focus on Bryce Young. Or suddenly daydreaming and reminiscing about Sam Darnold when he was hated more than Bryce Young.  Its really fun to do a message board search about Darnold during that time period.   Or thinking there is just a tree that grows QB, and you can just easily go up and pluck one.

      Yeah okay. We as an organization have been more patient with him than many. And there has been a small parade of guys drafted since he was, also to bad teams, that have passed him. Some have lapped him. As a fan I am out of patience but he gets this year it is out of my hands always has been. I just hope the bar is higher than it has been for him.    FWIW, XL dropped two passes last year. He did do some other bad stuff, just saying.
