then he is traded or they fire Easterby and fix the FO.

Watson different.  He ain't just rolling back in.

So you think firing Easterby would be enough to get DW back in the fold?

They all play the game for one primary reason, money.  DW is no "different".

Dude he isn’t even worth responding to, he has no idea what he is talking about, just like over half of the reporters today.

fixing the FO would bring him back most likely and end this.  That’s a win for Watson.

Watson got real money.  Got it from football and endorsements.  And he will make more no matter what in the end playing football.

NFL is changing.  They see other sports.   Ain’t just about cash either.  If it was Luke and Luck would be playing instead of retiring at their primes.

Didn’t Easterby help McNair through some personal issues? If that’s the case they are probably very close and it may be hard to fire him.

I think it is just McNair’s ego.  Easterby is a train wreck.  Cal has to see that at this point.  But he isn’t going to let a player call the shots.

McNair takes an L no matter what IMO. He just needs to accept that.  Best L would be just to do the obvious and fix the FO.  But egos are weird.

If firing Easterby solves the issue they should do so.

Chump change compared to what his Texans contract will pay over next 4-years.

They sure do and NFL owners do not want to see their league go down the same rat-infested hole the NBA dove into...

Sure it is all about the benjamins, Steve Smith said so on WFNZ just this week --- just look at JJ Watt's deal.

Luke and Luck are red-herrings of the highest order, lol.

Do you think he gets paid more on sinking ship with inept management/coach or possible contender with smart management/coach?

    • Velocity MPH. Okay, that’s a number in isolation. what if CJ has a nice 85% effort motion that does what he is looking for? And Young has to step into things to get even 2 mph behind him?  I don’t KNOW that about either it is just an example of numbers don’t always tell all, but when I look at Young throw it reminds me of someone like Fran Tarkenton. A throwback non athletic weak armed scrambler for those of you who don’t remember. Had a great career in the old smaller slower but much meaner NFL. Would not today, IMO.  I think the arm strength questions, are plenty fair. And the eyeball test, it does mean something. Who would take Bryce Young over CJ Stroud or Richardson based on his arm? It is obvious to the naked eye where they stack up.
    • Jarvis gets the first and the game winner!
    • Somehow win tonight and this series has a good chance to go 7 where anything can happen. will be an extremely tough test tonight though, probably the toughest game of the entire Rod era. Personally I'd go with Koochie but it'll prob be Freddie. Expecting a loss tonight so I don't get upset if it happens, but if we did somehow do the impossible and reverse sweep these fugers it'll be the happiest I've been about sports maybe ever (wasn't following the canes closely for our cup win otherwise that's obviously #1). Making the SB in '15 is up there right now but this could surpass that, especially if we can continue the run into the cup finals
