If you watched any of them last season, Cam had to carry the whole damn team on his shoulders. After Edelman went down, their receivers were as bad as our 2014 preseason lineup. Absolute dogshit - and Cam STILL managed to have a positive touchdown/turnover ratio.

The jury is still out! If the Patriots can offer Cam another opportunity, they must see something or know something that many don't. I'll trust their judgement and give Cam a commensurate amount of grace before declaring him a backup.

That said, I find it VERY interesting that Belichick would bring Cam back for another turn at the wheel...

I agree that the defense was better down the stretch, especially our d-line getting pressure on the QB.  We still played a lot of soft zone as to not get burned.

Hopefully some upgrades in the secondary and to the LB corps and another year of experience for the D-line and we will be "decent to good" in 2021.
