FWIW Bill Voth basically said today on twitter the Panthers weren't considering trading up into the top 4

There is hope after all, Lance is still in play...... if the insane rumors are truth about Mac Jones to SF. Beagual will have to be in play, since Dolphins traded back to 6th. I doubt anyone else trade for the top 7 picks, only the beaguals is in play it seems.

I think we could end up with Fields at 8 and I'm not kidding

Im about 90% sure Fields is ATLs target, so I seriously doubt he last that long.

Right now the draft is playing out like this-

1. sunshine

2. wilson

3.    ...........................by some miracle Jones

4. Fields

5. Sewell

6.  Chase

7. ???

Im team lance, soooo I pray Mac=49(i just can not buy this, not now) Fields = ATL gets the hometown kid. btw its stilll farrrr too much for lance if that ends up being the pick.

now think about the it.  Beaguals may not drafted Sewell, they signed Riley Reiff....hmmmmm They already drafted Jonah Williams. Im back to not knowing where they will go... Miami feels like a lock to draft a WR and Chase is the best one.

Alright DW not just because I'm a Clemson fan but please don't be that sexual predator this franchise can't even lose right and is in love with getting out done by the likes of LOL Rivera and ofc Peyton.

But lets take a moment to clap and chew bubblegum. I'm bout to go rewatch that WTF game and be like yay a dub.

Good news is we are going to get an elite player at 8 to waste right along side Cam, Luke, Olsen, Kalil, Gross, TD, Chinn, etc. All would be HoFers or potential HoFers with a competent GM/HC.

Ya know the type. the ones who don't call 7 step drops in the SB non stop until you've lost and that's literally the reason you lost. or run away top LTs and make them retire b/c they were ahead of the "you're a scumbag" train

I disagree - the best I've seen that system run was when the Broncos had Jake Plummer - a mobile QB.

You have to have a mobile QB in that system to account for the athletic zone blocking Olinemen not holding up against the pass.

I don't disagree, but Kyle Shannahan certainly seems to given the QBs he has been connected to and drafted lol

So Jake Plummer over an MVP and what should’ve been a SB victory with Matt Ryan. Or if we’re counting his Dad’s teams, Steve Young 92-94 was his resume builder and got him the DEN job and b2b SBs with Elway.

All very different type QBs and still managed to get the best out of all them. I can’t roll with the “Snake” Jr.

Elway and Young were before my time.

As I understand it though they're both mobile QBs.

    • Sure, but if that happens, the draft pick will look even worse for the Falcons, as instead of getting them a player that could win now, they took someone who ran off their prize FA QB after 3 years and now looks like they may be a bust. Penix was one of the more polished QB's in the draft and would have probably been a rookie starter if taken by someone with an uncertain starting QB, if he's not ready to step in and play well in year 3, then it's probably not going to work out.
