Teddy only had 2 2nd-half TD passes in 2020, none after Wk 4

Lets be honest shall we. You did not make this post for any other reason but..

A) To continue the shitstorm on Teddy and join the many that want to crap all over him

B) Speak up your hopefulness of Darnold (I think many are hopeful) but do so for a QB that for the most part was equally as bad in general.

You try to disguise comparing you nearly equal piles of poo by complicating it with a nuance of comparing not only the color of the poo, but also the texture, smell, and location ( hence your mention of Brady)

But really....you just wanted to make a post of about how bad you feel Teddy is.  Congrats.

I don't need to really explain anything to you but since you're bringing it up I saw the 2 TD stat mentioned in a different discussion and, after looking it up for myself, was surprised. Looking into it further shows consistency with him, but since it's tough to separate Brady at this point and Darnold is the new guy I figured it was something worth noting for all 3 of them.

I say nothing bad about Teddy, though I did and do own my opinion of him as a player (though I also have not stated it in this thread). I have said nothing good about Darnold, who has trended down in this area throughout his career; the numbers shared in my post show that. Brady also gets very little mention when the offense's performance is discussed and while Teddy has a lot of film to draw from, Brady only has 1 year as an OC.

You're choosing to interpret things as you are.

Agreed. I posted a gif of you beating a dead horse by telling us (as if we didn't know) how bad Teddy is. You took issue with it. Its cool. You want us to know how bad Teddy is. We got it!

Why should Brady be watched given you state he was working with QB who has a history of poor 2nd performance?

Because there isn't yet any evidence that Brady is good in his own right. In fact, Teddy was worse in terms of 2nd half TDs here in Carolina. Is that a sign that Carolina's coaching/Brady is/was deficient as well? Brady still has a lot to prove IMO and while Teddy seemingly hasn't been good in this specific area across his career, that doesn't automatically mean that Brady didn't also underperform. Just not as clear-cut with only 1 year of film.

Except that's not what I said anywhere. You're the one saying that and beating the dead horse. I just posted an unusual stat, the history there, and how others may factor in/compare.

And i just posted a gif. Get over it! It was my opinion of your post. If my opinion and take is right or wrong...why do you worry about it so much? You dont have to fight with random people on the internet. Pie here isnt so important.

You made a post. I read it the way I did. I responded the way I did. Its all good. Smoke a fatty and relax bro. You dont need to win the internet every single day!

I'm not not relaxed. When stuff is posted that doesn't make sense it may be worth responding to, so I did.

It brings up a more important question though, rather than just does Teddy suck.

Should we cosider keeping T2G for a backup. The hope with any backup is that they have the ability to win a game if your starter gets hurt. These stats show that he likely isnt going to be able to come in in the 2nd half and lead the team to a win. Granted most everyone already knows this, but when considering the backup role, how much value does he even have there?

I think this highlights the need to continue to mold the team around Teddy to better take advantage of his skill set.

A guy who should be targeted  in the early rounds is Tutu Atwell who like Teddy attended Miami Northwestern HS and then Louisville. Teddy excels at the short/intermediate pass, and Atwell is a guy who can take it to the house from anywhere on the field.

    • Dude you have no idea what you're talking about. Best place to live?  LMAO... that's your criteria...  Charlotte gets put all over those lists too... come on man... and those lists have zero to do with sports. I'm done after this bc I'm punching down intellectually here... The Panthers have been bad for 6 years now. You are obviously young and not overly educated based off the "dunks" you're putting out there that certainly are, so let me educate you today on the Panthers. The Panthers sold out for well over a decade straight. BOA has been as good an environment as there is when the team is good.  Fan support for the Panthers has been incredible when the team has even remotely reciprocated. The idea that Charlotte doesn't support the Panthers is utter BS. People in Raleigh have the biggest little brother syndrome of all time... Nobody outside of the Triangle cares about any of your "vaunted" sports team outside of Duke-UNC in basketball on a national scale. Sure, the Canes are great. But nationally, the WWE dwarfs the NHL in ratings. More people care about Cody Rhodes than Sebastian Aho... or anyone else in the NHL for that matter... I doubt less than 5% of anyone in this state outside of Raleigh even knows who that is... that's a knock on Aho who is a great player, it's just the NHL barely makes a ripple in the overall hierarchy of American sports. It's not in the same universe as the NFL or NBA no matter how badly you want to tell yourself otherwise. Raleigh is not a big-time sports city, no matter how much you want to scream into the abyss about it. Neither is Charlotte. But no one here is making such a nonsense argument... LOL it's good to be young and to be ignorant enough to be confidently wrong... WTF are you even on this board though since Charlotte is so beneath you? There is an actual discussion board on this very site for Raleigh sports since they are so superior...  Maybe it's bc I'm watching Idiocracy with my son, but your timing is perfect, my man... The dumbest among us have become the most confidence in their ignorance... God Bless America!!
    • You do know the biggest military base in the US is located just an hour from Raleigh in Fort Bragg right? Military families are family oriented. A hour drive to games is nothing compared to traveling 3 hours to Charlotte.   Cmon man there is nothing happening in Western Carolina other than Charlotte. I only go west for outdoor activities and some nature/mountain views.
    • Okay, who is coming. And how hard is it going to be to get tickets? I’m currently living in Germany a couple hours north of Munich. Happy to help facilitate a cheaper experience for help getting tickets lol.
