All that maneuvering just so we can say that we got Sam Darnold for 'nothing'.

"Look how smart we are Mr Tepper"

He seems like a risky pick based on injury and lack of athleticism and shaky hands.  I dont think we are in a position as a franchise to being picking risks in the 2nd.

lack of athleticism? lmao

which blog did you read that on?

Man there is risk with every pick. Marshall is 20 years old, an excellent route runner, and a smooth athlete for his size. The injuries are the only reason he went at 59 instead of 29. He was a perfect pick where we took him.

WEAKNESSES:Lacks the short-area burst to create mid-route...doesn’t play with the tempo or route prowess to consistently create indecision by coverage defenders...attacks the catch point with natural ball skills, but runs into concentration drops (five drops in 2020)...not the most graceful-footed athlete along the sideline...below average blocker for his size and must improve his urgency and angles to be trusted at the next level...medicals need to be cleared: missed three games as a sophomore due to a fractured left foot (September 2019) that required surgery; missed almost all of his senior season in high school due to a broken left fibula (September 2017) that required surgery...it didn’t sit well with NFL scouts that he opted out prior to the Alabama-LSU game (November 2020).

Marshall is a versatile receiver that has proven himself both from the slot and out wide while attacking all levels of the field with consistency. He offers terrific size, physicality, hands, ball skills, run after catch ability, route-running skills, and overall technical-refinement. Marshall did miss three games in 2019 with a foot injury, had some minor drop issues creep up in 2020, and has some inconsistent moments as a blocker, but there isn’t much in the way of notable concerns as he enters the next level. Marshall has the potential to become a productive piece of an NFL offense that can produce in a variety of ways.

Look, I can find a blogstar that agrees with me too!

This blurb did not help you make a point.. So please don't feel redeemed after cutting and pasting something you obviously didn't read.. I also find it funny you didn't cut and paste the strengths from this same breakdown that would have dump on your opinion.. hmmmmm

Hahahahsha.

I mean every draft pick is a crap shoot and the very nature of the draft means you pass on players to pick players you want. Some of yall wouldn't know talent if it bit ya and are just mad your mocks look like crap today lolol. Learn how to deal lol

The picks make it obvious the Panthers are leaning on this information. I wonder if there is actual correlation to NFL success? This is the first year I have seen this RAS discussed regularly.

Ridiculous fans....why would they trade, give up a 2nd next year, and invoke Donalds 5th year option on him if he wasn't the guy. Thinking around here sometimes is not at a premium. They where never considering a QB after the first two where gone
