Start out discussing Shi Smith and then transitions to discussing the Panthers offense after the draft and Darnold. Really good stuff.

Great video, I watched most of the draft and they barely mentioned us. Haha!

But the excitement is real, he has some weapons: DJ, Anderson, Terrace, Shi, Moore (from Seahawks), Dan Arnold, Tremble, CMC, and Chuba. GOOD GRIEF!!!

He also has a defense with additions of Horn, Reddick, Fox, Jones, Nixon, and more. He has NO EXCUSES!!!

Not to mention the staff. Like the video mentioned, we lost about 8 games by one possession. I think we over achieved last year thanks to them, and could have done even better if we made a few more plays in each one of those games.

Yeah I think we did a really good job of giving him weapons and protection. Not just guys but guys he can grow around. DJ Moore is the best WR he's played with. That's not a knock on Anderson but Moore is just that good. Not to mention he gets Anderson back,he gets McCaffrey, he get two pretty good weapons out of college in marshall and Smith who is a sleeper. Dang like the cup fillith over.

I was blown away when i heard both “guru’s” say they would have Darnold as #2 qb in this years draft behind Trevor Lawrence.. and saying that even more with the crap that went on up there.

i feel sorry for the guy. He obviously has a world of talent and to do that to him was so hard to watch. You know leaders have a responsibility to NOT do this to young guys that trust them.

i am going to go out on a limb here and say we have our franchise qb for years to come. The talent that got him selected 3 over all is still there. They just didn't develop it and they added some neg baggage, but leaders can fix that. Its like we got the second best qb in this years draft for a second round pick next year! IF we can fix what the Jets screwed up.

    • Watching games this year again and Bryce missed a wide open XL many times and some of them were in the endzone. I get the kid has mental lapses and hasn't broke out yet, but this is year three on a rookie deal! Cutting bait now is too early. If he hasn't gained anymore trust from his QB, posted any highlights, little production, or outright gets beat out then we can talk movement.
    • Samesies   I truly may just cash completely out of Panther football if we give him a long term deal that isnt necessary.  I have watched NFL for 50 years now and I can without a shadow of a doubt say you cannot win consistently with BY.  Way too many limitations to deal with.   I may come back around in 3 years when the inevitable happens and all parties are either cut and/or fired.  Giving him a deal before this season so you hopefully can get him cheaper in case he "blows up" or if you truly believe that he will has to be the most moronic decision a gm can make when the evidence is laid before you with different players
    • This is the one! I was at that game and all KB had to do was lay down on the corner after the pick or make an obvious tag while he was down. He had already ran a lazy route. Then if Cam would've just walked to the sideline like most elite QBs instead of trying to make the tackle.  A lot of people bring up the TJ Watt hit, but he just reaggravated a bunch of scar tissue from that play. And every Cam hater said that the running did him in and it was a dive tackle attempt on an interception that initially began the shoulder deterioration. He still went to New England later and would've got them in the playoffs had their A team not sat out the covid year. We quit on him too early. But hey how good was Teddy? Am I right?
