nope this is another guy.  he basically handled the salary cap.

I'd have to look it up.

Rodgers was in that role forever. Pretty sure he originally took that job when Marty was named GM the first time and didn't leave it until last year.

I wish we could see the players that Kuechly scouted. I wonder how many of the picks had his hands on them...

Does Kuechly actually scout college players, I thought it was just scoutting opponents for upcoming games, etc.?

Kuechly's official title is pro scout, but Fitterer and the team have said they don't want to narrowly define job roles so they may have had him do some college scouting as well.

Heck, I probably would if I were them.

Lord almighty, what a mess that was 🙄

Yeah as I remember it, we had a couple nitwits on here calling him out for being soft because he got concussed.  Then there was the guy who told him how to make his pizzas better because he thought they sucked.

I missed the part about the pizzas.

Did have a couple of chances to try the pizza at his restaurant during the short time it was open. They were fantastic.

    • To me, this seems like they feel they aren't going to be competitive. I can't help but go back to Bryce. Good guy, but he doesn't inspire people to give it their all. He isn't a "leader" that people look to. There is no Smith, Delhomme, Kuechly, Cam, etc. coming in that door.  It has to be Bryce, but biologically speaking, how often is the shortest man in the room going to command the kind of respect that will drive people? It just isn't. That isn't how we are wired. That isn't how any living animal on Earth today is wired.  I just follow the science guys.
    • Vick's issue with Reid was that he couldn't take a hit, and he wouldn't go down. Otherwise he was pretty good much of the time.  Mahomes has a system that works. Mahomes doesn't become Mahomes elsewhere because not everyone can extract 125% of the ability of a specific player like Reid can. Kevin O'Connell is beginning to look like he has that ability as well but I'll need to see how he does with his Redshirt Freshman.  I also wonder how much of their playoff issue last year was related to the offense as a whole and not just Darnold. Fans don't really dive into the "why" things happen, they just see the what and complain about it.
