He thinks Joe Brady is awesome..

He's been watching tape with Brady of Drew and Teddy running the offense, discussing how to see the play and what jives with Darnold in the plays.

He's putting in a ton of time learning the plays, formations, shifts and motions.

He's been talking to Robby.  Robby's going to be ready when he comes.

In practice I want to win every rep.  I want to beat our defense.

Fans make the game. Loves crowd noise. Loves when the crowd goes silent on away games when we score.

Fluff:

He's missing 2nd half of couch.
Charlotte reminds of home.  Small town feel.

He gets in at 6:30 to eat before practice.

Alaina Getzenberg had the best questions.
David Newton's questions are crap.

Nice summary. Thanks! Can’t believe DN hasn’t been replaced...awful!!!

Yeah, its like he's tired of talking about football.  He needs to be a movie or restaurant critic or go on the lifestyle/living reporting beat.  Who gives a fug about Darnold's couch?

He is also barely capable of operating Zoom and has fingernails on chalkboard microphone sound. He needs to be transported back to Nascar.

And people in Charlotte don’t have that loud, obnoxious and pushy NY manner of communicating.  That accent, Lord.

I actually have a lot New Yorkers as neighbors.  We joke how Darnold is

just another New Yorker moving to Charlotte.

Just that old southern redneck accent confused with words like were, was, is saw and seen. Charlotte feels like a small town because…it is one. I’d actually call it a mid sized city. But I population size is skewed because of the area that actually counts as ‘Charlotte’.

I do miss the trees though and it is a nicer city, no doubt about that.

I had quite a number of specialty registry staff from NY, Midwest and the south that I contracted out to hospitals in our county and the L.A. area, really liked most of the NYers, but man, I had to remind them that people were not deaf, and no one cares about their opinions, or to STFU about how much money they were making as registry staff.  Gets tiring continually smoothing the waters to prevent a Do Not Send kiss of death.

Sam is no more a NYer type than I’m like Salma Hayek or a Song Girl.

    • Im not angry. Im disappointed. I want to win. Anyone who has watched Bryce play the last 3 years and thinks that this team has in any way seriously addressed the glaring deficiencies in our QB room is deluding themselves. It's been explained ad nauseum how our FO has protected Bryce from feeling even slightly challenged or pressured. A GM without an interfering owner would have brought in another QB to at least give the team a better chance at winning. We just gave an extension to a QB that only got 3k yards on the last play of his 16th game of the year. Indy admitted AR wasn't good enough by bringing in Jones to compete for the starting role. Tennessee drafted Ward to replace Levis. Stroud hasn't repeated his 1st year and Mills' performance was decent when he filled in after Stroud's injury and some were calling for him to remain starter. His future there is still in question even with a 5th year. We should have done the same, especially given that Bryce was benched.  Bringing in Grier is just another glaring billboard pronouncing the obvious. Dave Tepper still has his hands in the daily operations of this team. He controls the QB room because Bryce was his pick. Until Tepper finally admits that Bryce has barely lived up to the standards of a NFL Qb, we're going to spend our days reminiscing of when we were mediocre and finished 9-7.  It's just discouraging. We'll address every position on the field except the one with a glaringly obvious shortcoming. I had hoped Tepper really had backed off. Bryce's 5th year, Dalton's 2 year contract then trade, Kenny Pickett, Will Grier, Jack Plummer, and  Hendon Hooker say otherwise. It already feels like it's going to be a hard year of Panthers football to watch.
