Isn’t Greg most recently a Sea Hawk?  I don’t recall anyone asking if we were “ok” with him wearing that uniform?

Meh I wasn't happy about it but it really didn't matter. Any rivalry was long gone by that point and they aren't in our division anyway. He'll be fine.

Though in the end he said he was fine with it. You can't blame him for having an emotion over it.

He has mixed feelings because he cares….about his time with the Panthers.  If he had a bad experience, he wouldn’t care about anyone wearing that number here.

I understand the mixed feelings, he truly was one of the all time Panther greats. But not so great as to have his number retired. I think he realizes that. The only numbers to be potentially retired in my opinion would be 89, 1 and maybe 90.

It isn't like Olsen called anyone out he was just open about the situation rather than giving a company line. Guys play for other teams it happens. It bothered me as much as seeing Thomas Davis in a Chargers jersey ie very little. Both players were clearly done anyway. Seeing Newton in a Patriots jersey doesn't bother me either. Plenty of well known Panthers who were involved in success with this franchise have worn other jerseys. Life goes on.

He appears to have been honest when asked, shared a joke with the current coach and wished the new guy well.  Seems like he had a natural and very grounded reaction.  No drama.
