Our vaccinated rate vs Washington…what’s the difference? Ron Rivera “very frustrated”

i'm working on shooting a film and we almost got shut down because the crew and acting unions came in and mandated fully vaccinated sets. a had to let half a dozen key personnel and several actors go to keep my production rolling.

netflix just announced they will mandate it for all production zone cast and crew.

this is where the world is moving. private organizations and companies are following suit. unvaccinated folks without valid medical exemptions are going to find it increasingly harder to navigate society and freely do the things they used to

Once we reach herd immunity it won't matter if your employees are vaccinated.

And just when will that be? Come on smart guy. Tell us when this magical date will come? Next month? Several months? Years?

Because whether you believe it or not. At this time, things are trending in the wrong direction for your herd immunity dream.

You think?

Once 80 percent of the country has either had it or been vaccinated we get there.

You keep forgetting that people have immune systems.

That didn't answer the question. When can we expect to reach this magic number? The world is a mess. I an excited for this to actually happen. So when? Come on? You can at least give us an approximation?

You've got all the answers. Answer this one?

.8% of deaths are fully vaccinated people and 1.1% of hospitalizations. What you are describing in an incredibly small sample size. Can it happen to fully vaccinated people? Yes, just way less likely.

I believe history will show differently, but we shall see.

Nowhere in there does it say, home of the idiots that think Covid is no big deal. Over 1.4 million dead. But hey. Don't do your part to end this pandemic.

Forest fires serve a purpose too.

No amount of "science" will make it go away...

...nature has to take its course --- period.

    • Trade up for a project was dumb, he's gonna be 25 next month. By the time you're deciding on whether he's worth the 5th year option or a big contract you're already gonna be thinking about moving on soon either way.
    • I mean this is legit AF statement....you don't spend that draft capital on a project just like you don't trade up for an injured RB either, which was done in the same draft.  That draft IMO was a necessary evil for DM to learn from his mistakes (I think he did but some may not). Also I have to mention I'm a big Coker fan and think getting him as an UDFA was obv a steal.  Coker is the better WR2 at this point as Legette and its not even debatable unfortunately.  Give him year 3 but don't expect much from him.  Continue in the offseason with adding as much talent and competition on the roster as possible including WR.  Or just trade his ass for peanuts and continue to build roster by any means.......
    • Losing him was a huge loss. Look at how the Bears went from a 5 win team to now a 11 win team. The Lions offensive line is bad this year, secondary is bad and Campbell going for it on 4th down all the time has cost them games instead of taking the Field Goals. Goff is inconsistent as well.
