My favorite play of the day wasn't a long bomb or even a touchdown. It was something far more important, imo. 

 

11 on 11 

First string offense vs first string defense

Defense blitzes. Jeremy Chinn at the LOS making his way to the QB. Near instant pressure. 

Sam Darnold stands tall in the pocket and delivers a perfect strike to Dan Arnold in the middle seam for 20 yards. First down. 

This single play has given me so much hope.

Dan Arnold was a good signing. He certainty isn't going to wow anyone blocking, but he is the fastest TE we've had since Olsen was healthy.

Hope he will help improve what was a putrid red zone offense last year.

His blocking didn't look all that bad today either. Plus, the guy has some swagger. Helps get the offense energized.

I saw that on the stream. I panicked for a moment then breathed a huge sigh of relief.

      I would take it over this clown show! The fluff is not working on me this offseason, didn't the last two either. You can tell a shitty boss has and is still meddling and micromanaging, but it's a business where he makes profit whether he puts out a good product or not so we're kinda fuged as fans
