I was not impressed with PJ. Under 50% isn't going to cut it in this league. He has to be more accurate. That said, he's clearly better than Grier. We're in trouble if Sam --who has never played all 16 games -- misses time.

Hey if B.Zylstra caught half his passes that percent is near %75 completion rate...

Them two just couldn't connect for some reason...

I never thought Marshall was supposed to be a burner. I thought he was more in that Moose type mold. Honestly, we could use that type more than another burner IMO.

He's a legit 4.4 guy - he's fast. Evidently the Colts have a few very fast DBs (if it wasn't the same guy that chased down Hubbard and Marshall, I'd have to check).

Marshall can do it all. He is that redzone/3rd down threat and possession receiver that we need, but can still make YAC as well.

There is a reason why some people including myself already think he will be our WR1 by the start of next year.

Considering DJ Moore is a legit #1 WR that would be terrifying for the NFC South.

    • Damn I liked A'Shawn too. This is basically a heads up we're planning on cutting you move.  Robinson wasn't the best but I loved his attitude and effort on the field. He held that entire dline together when Brown went down iirc..granted we finished that season as the worst rushing defense in modern NFL history.  If Wharton would have performed up to atleast half of his salary last season, I'd feel a little better about it. We do need that cap space though.

They made the playoffs, but they're not yet knocking on the door. (Offense was 26th in EPA/play.) I think it's imperative they don't overestimate where they are in their build. They can't throw a ton of money around in FA to "make a run now". They need to be intentional about building a solid foundation. (IMO) And from what I know about the team... I think they will be. Sidenote: I have my eye on offense there, not defense. They HAVE to leave next season with a strong opinion on Bryce Young. They need to put pieces around him to do that. Can't be left wondering what he would have looked like with "better OL play" or "more pass catchers". They have to know. (That part is purely my opinion. No one told me that.) https://x.com/lindsay_rhodes/status/2027212533417869499?s=46&t=xeIgh_-Vr2aKxBkBJdfnKA
    • Because this DL is completely reliant on Brown being available and being a stud. Without him we were the worst D in history. The Wharton signing last year reeked of desperation. He just isn't a great fit for us schematically and I think we panicked a little bit when we missed out on Milton Williams who would have been a great fit.
