Perryman: maybe we just cut him?

I mean, he's still not ready.  He's not counting a ton towards the cap, maybe we drop the experiment before it starts.  We have Reddick, Shaq, Carter, Luuvu in the LB room anyways.  May do better getting a final cut from another team at MLB to backup Carter.

I completely agree. Roster spots are valuable. While not a major factor you also have to include his lack of ability to attend any internal  after hour Panther team-building events due to his vaccination stance. Whether you are for vaccinations or against it teams are at a disadvantage that have unvaccinated players.

Cut him and pick up a guy with some experience to play behind Carter.

LB is our weakest unit. I'm sure Rhule and Fitterer have their eyes on the waiver wire when teams cut down to 53. I'm 99% sure you could pick up two or three guys that are better than our starters.

Chinn should have won DROTY last season - he plastered over a lot of cracks.

I thought we were signing these injury prone guys because we now had sports science and poo.

I'm getting really close to demanding answers.

I am not sure really what to think. They piled up injury prone player after injury prone player this offseason but that wasn't the case in 2020. I guess we need to wait until 2022 offseason to figure out if this is a trend.

Yeah, looking at their history, Erving and Perryman are the headscratchers.  The others, I can see about being in a bad situation or having potential to be tapped, but mid-career journeymen like these two didn't quite fit the vibe of the team.  Elflein you could convince me even though Jets & Vikes fans disliked him.  I'm actually quite pleased with the rest of the FA but Erving and Denzel are just odd choices.

    • I think the ‘issue’ here is that we had two guys that clashed for several reasons. In some ways they were different, but in other ways they had a lot in common, and sadly they couldn’t see the forest for the trees. Sometimes when you have two people like that together they are either going to love or hate each other, and if it’s the latter, you need someone to mediate and hope the two individuals are capable of putting their differences aside for the common good. In this instance, they couldn’t find a way to move forwards together because I don’t think either guy wanted to play second fiddle to the other. This video basically said neither guy had the tools to bridge that gap and mend that fence, and perhaps also were unwilling to give an inch at that stage in their lives and careers. So a divorce, while unfortunate, was always likely. Do we win the Super Bowl with Smitty and Cam? Well, it’s one of life’s big what ifs for us Panthers fans.
    • Dude, I think I might be having Jarvy withdrawals... I ripped the sleeves off of all of my t-shirts in my sleep last night. Every bite of my Alpha-Bita cereal spelled Seth, this morning. And, I took 7 naps before lunch. I'm losing it guys! Jarvy's Jaunty Band of Jaggoffs are getting more play than he is... smh Team Canada doesn't treasure Jarvis the way he deserves. He should take his band down to Liechtenstein, get a bag of passports, and start his own Olympic team! The raw animal magnetism of Jarvilicious will bring in a handful of NHLers on its own. And, since the IOC believes in collective punishment, he could have his pick of the rookies. Then, just fill out the rest of the roster with the maple blooded great white northerners who couldn't make the top squad. Can't trust this assembled awesomery to just any old Liechtensteinien with a clipboard and a whistle. Gotta bring in a legend worthy of this gold medal gambit. A hockey HOFer with the balls to buck the system and the aura to match our maverick. Huere geil, Vaduz!!! 2030 Gold Medal guaranteed!
    • Tennessee isn't trading a QB on a 2nd round contract that has starting experience.  That's bad business.
