Stepping on the gas in the second half. 7-6 was a scary moment where it all felt like it was going the Texans way. We made halftime adjustments and had a great 2nd half.
The injuries. I get it injuries happen in the NFL, but it felt like a pile on tonight
I think this defense in 2021 is better overall. Better dline and secondary. Lb position is very good, just not as good. The thing is though is that a a great dline and secondary carry harder then great LB unit.
Offense looks more stable this year. Better WR core, better RB. Sam Darnold plays better then any QB we have had since 2015.
First.... one of our stars has nothing to do with the defense
And second... not saying those teams didn't play bad defenses, but people need to keep some perspective with ours this year so far. Sure, they could be good in the end, but we've played 3 of the worst offenses imaginable so far, let's not get too far over our skis.
Seriously, it's hard to find a more friendly schedule that 2 rookie QBs and rookie HCs in the first 3 weeks, and the third game being a team missing half their coaching staff, with a questionable first year starter for them at QB and also missing 8 starters due to injury in addition to living on the road for over a month due to a hurricane.
It's kinda unprecedented with what we've faced so far, I love what we've seen, but that's not something that can be ignored.
