If whiners can continue to make posts about Butker, we can damned sure have a thread about Gano. Sure, he was hurt, but he has continued where he left off. He was better than Butker before he got hurt, and he's better than Butker now.

I think you are confused but when have we been in position to sign a really good one? They have to be available. Whenever I hear Gano's name I picture that kick going wide against the Broncos after our qb took the beating of his life guiding us to the game winning kick. The Panthers need a kicker but more than that they need to score touchdowns I'm sorry if I'm not all teary eyed over an aging kicker I want to compete with the best and we aren't doing that settling for field goals anyway.

34 is a kickers prime while Tom Brady is anomaly at 44 kickers in there 40s are quite common.

By the way Gano made the first one and Broncos called timeout. It’s hard to hit 50 yd fgs back to back, I don’t blame that on him.

fug Gano. Don’t forget performance is also a personal responsibility. He screwed us many times with the game on the line and he deserved to be cut. Who he is now is not the same guy.

Did you want Gano over Butker? Just asking because he was also sent to the practice squad literally months after drafting him. As much as you love Gano, seems like something you supported, which was pretty stupid.

We sold our best stuff and bought junk with the profits

No one knows if a kicker is going to improve or stop losing games.  It sucks but the team didn't fug up by trying to find new kickers.

e: where we really fuged up was drafting a long snapper who couldn't beat out JJ.
