Why Aren't Christensen & Brown Playing?

I get kind of confused about the Brown "conditioning" excuse because..... didn't he play college football each week and 30 pounds heavier at that?  Not only that, he played at Alabama.  I really don't think a program like Alabama would have someone that couldn't play.

Brady is also older than most draft picks so waiting so long to see what he does in an NFL game makes a bit less sense than a normal draft pick.  We need to see what we got, especially when there are issues happening.

It's hard to trust coaches when we dealt with Rivera keeping people like Norwell on the bench and others because of "they are vets" type nonsense.

He sticks to useless vets just like they did.

He also punts from the 33 like fox.

Burns TOs like Ron

Makes inexplicable decisions like a 54 yd fg when pinning them deep was the obvious decision.

So tell which of these statements are incorrect

You're not facing Aaron Donald and Vita Vea week in and week out in college.

Seems like conditioning and learning the position for Brown.

Christensen I believe we'll see more of and hopefully Erving won't step on his foot.  I think it is evident the Panthers see him as a guard and probably at LG.  Again, he's probably learning the position as a pro and his assignments...interior rookie linemen have to make sure they know the playbook and any protection audibles the QB calls.  The tackles need to as well, but it's a little bit easier as much of the time they are taking care of the DE or blitz coming from a CB if it's a stunt or the DE drops back in coverage.

    • Another thread where the Huddle melts down over a Bryce comment.  "Conversations" and "Bryce Young has been signed to a new long-term contract" are still far away from being the gospel.  For a fanbase that has watched two top-3 drafted QBs come here, and us move on, only to see them elevate their play elsewhere, I find it comical. Bryce is flawed but this org is damned if you do and damned if you don't with BY9.  Why would our GM and HC say anything other than supportive about their QB1. Yes, he's extended, but I truly do not think if he goes out and has a repeat of the previous seasons, that he is here beyond 2027. They're giving him every opportunity and surrounding him with a ridiculous amount of assets on both sides of the ball. If he continues to pitch 110 yd/ game and cough up the ball while everyone else is busting their ass, no way Dan keeps him beyond the extension.
    • Ooof, I was not a Proctor fan. I agree w/ a lot of smarter folks than me that he's more of a guard and think his weight fluctuation is going to be something to navigate. I liked Lomu a lot, but figured there would be more talented guys there at 19. I also wasn't big on bringing in a TE via the draft. If it's not a vet (Njoku) or a trade for Mayer or Kmet, I'd just as soon see what the youngsters have. No need cluttering the room with more of the same.
    • Sam Darnold & Bryce Young are two very different Qbs ..just saying the last 25 years approximately 2/3 of ALL  first round Qb's  in the NFL were or are bust.so for everyone who makes it like a Sam Darnold you have two that don't make it or are a bust
