They have 1 starter on that Oline. They are complaining that Hurts can't, or won't go through his progressions before  taking off. He has bad decision making to go with an overall weak arm. Their Offense is a mess.

They lost Graham, and Barnett and Cox are no-shows. Iffy LBs, and a broke down Slay is their best CB.

That team, IN OUR HOUSE, has no chance.

Well our injuries and guys missing can negate some of that...I mean we have no idea how the OL is going to go either which could derail an entire side of the ball. But like the thread says we should win this. Playing well with injuries and guys missing and winning these types of games are indeed what playoff teams/teams that have arrived do...lets see how it goes.

Looks like we have something in common since we have 1 starter on our OL with a bunch of trash.

I think we're playoff caliber with CMC, and we're not without him. It's because our offense is just not good enough without CMC, and you can't have a tepid offense and expect to make the playoffs. We're basically using CMC to prop up a non-playoff team and who knows if his body will hold up. If he can stay healthy then I like our chances of making the playoffs. If not, then we'll have to rebuild the o-line in the draft and continue to slowly build a team that has the talent to be great without CMC.

The elephant in the room is that our o-line is exactly as bad as nearly the entire huddle feared it would be before the season started. And the effect of that is starting to wear Sam down as the season moves along. Ever wonder why Sam is a mile off on his deep throws? It's not because he can't throw deep. The ghosts are coming back. I think Rhule is going to put in Christensen this Sunday to do some ghost busting.

Games like today is what keeps you out of the playoffs

Games like today is what will keep Sam from getting another Starting Job as NFL QB elsewhere.

Clock is ticking and this previous debacle did him no favors.

He has to turn sh-t around IN A HURRY to regain all the goodwill and trust he threw away with those 3 Picks.

    • EA is being sold so if you think it can't get worse then you had better buckle up. I gave up on them long ago when Madden became more for children buying cards vs the great days of franchise mode.
    • Its not about being salty after a 17 point comeback and a 200 yard rusher. Those things are great and aren't to be overlooked. Its looking at the overall picture and asking yourself, where those a great individual effort on Rico's part? Yes. Did DC have an amazing game plan that created those opportunities? Meh. Rico broke a lot of tackles and did some hard nose running and there was some piss poor tackling as well. Did Bryce put it a herculean effort and really put this team on his back and carry them to victory? I dont think so. He had 2 turnovers and played OK for the 2nd half. Nothing that makes me say thats the guy thats gonna lead our team for the next decade.  Looking at our defense. Adjustments were made, Evero did well shutting down Achane who is a good RB. We had a good defensive game with a few mistakes here and there.  Im 3 decades into being a Panther fan. Wins like this don't do much for me. We beat a bad team. We haven't had back to back winning seasons ever. We haven't had a winning season in 8 years. Our FO and coaching staff has a lot to prove. So no, Im not going to get exited about a win over a team thats likely going to end up with a top 3 pick or a QB that imploded. Ill get excited about a winning season or clear visible progress even if we lose every game. Things that show this team is actually moving in the right direction and implementing the things that will produce a winning product year in and year out.  Until then. Who cares about beating a division rival on our way to another top 10 draft pick and a 5-12 season. Yay. We still suck balls. But we got a moral victory. That poo is for losers.  Im tired of the Panthers and their fans being perennial losers.
    • Given the average ypp is around 7.1, I would say 20 is plenty long.
