Over reaction, lots of reinforcements next week, but yes our offensive line really is that bad.

Reinforcements will mean nothing because this team lacks killer instinct. From the coaches it goes down to the players and it shows on the field. This season is about to fall apart and I think we can all sense it.

Darnold is crumbling back into the QB he was on the Jets. Blame the O-Line and Joe Brady if you want, but Darnold had at least 7-10 bad throws today either missing an open man or throwing picks.

Even with reinforcements coming I don’t see this team improving because when the game is on the line, they have always lost under Matt Rhule. I see no reason why that would change. No killer instinct. Loser mentality.

And they are usually right.

Seasons: 27 (1995 to 2021)

Record (W-L-T): 203-216-1

Playoff Record: 9-8

Super Bowls Won: 0 (2 Appearances)

There are plenty of reasons to be concerned about what we have seen over the last 2 weeks.  I do not think its overreaction ( maybe the "Welp, thats the season" posts ) when year after year after year after year after year it's the same 'ol thing.  I do not believe in stupid superstitions like curses but i'll be damned if this team isn't cursed to be mediocre since its conception.  The people saying "You guys are just overreacting"....no my dudes, you are under-reacting because if anything, history definably has repeated itself with this poo team no matter who is in charge of what.  These numbers do nothing but prove exactly what I am saying.  By the way, this wasn't directed at you but the overly optimistic homers who think their way of thinking is what makes you a fan of the team.

It's easy to blame people for overreacting or something but minus a couple years it has been decades of losing games like this.  Decades of conservative coaches letting leads go.  Zero back to back winning seasons.   I suppose it is time to just accept losing like Browns or Lions fans.   When people stop caring about losing is when we have an issue.

I’m getting closer to really not caring anymore. I’ve got a lot of life changes coming up including a new child, so supporting a perpetually disappointing team when I haven’t lived in the Carolinas for over 10 years seems like less and less of a worthwhile use of my time.

Honestly I’m apathetic now. Up until 2015 I would get mad as hell and my day ruined if the team lost. Now I actually think it’s funny as hell watching this bad news bears franchise do it’s thing.  I watch l hoping they will be good, but in the end really don’t care. Tepper has proven he’s not a good owner, his decisions are as inept as the previous owner.

At least Richardson’s squads had some success. There’s a very real chance this team doesn’t make the playoffs this decade.

I made a whole thread about how the Cowboys game could be a turning point game that could lead to a subsequent season melt down like the 49ers and Steelers games in 2018 and 2019.  And most people were totally dismissive about the idea.

At this point the team and the franchise  in general will be expected to continually  fall flat on their faces until they don't.  Which hasn't happened since perhaps  2017 or 2015.

This is the post where all the whiney millennials cry and tell us all how right they are that we suck and if only the whole world listened to them everything would be perfect and full of rainbows and unicorns. Crawl into your safe spaces and comfort one another privately. Yes it was a bad game by a young team that was missing some very key players but that's to be expected and no the sky isn't falling and no you usually aren't right except when stating the obvious. This young team is still heading in the right direction and it will pick it's self up and we will be ok. It looks bad to criticize the team for falling apart today while you fall apart afterwards. These games happen. Look around the league each and every week and you'll see that it doesn't only happen to us. Failure and adversity makes us stronger as long as you face it head on and don't quit every time something doesn't go your way. This isn't only true in football but real life too. Y'all really need to grow up. Cry Reaction GIF by MOODMAN

THIS.  My situation is not the same as yours but its now going on 4ish years since I moved ( as FAR away as I possibly could ) from the Carolinas.  I just care less and less as time goes on but I continue to piss away my weekend days in San Diego California when I could be out doing a variety of other things.  After this past year of struggling to find a house out here and the overwhelming stress that came with it, me giving two craps about what this poo team is doing is the least of my concerns after spending about a year stressing about where I was going to live ( I do own a house out here now ).  The thing is, I have absolutely no control over what happens with this team....didn't really hit home for me till after our Super Bowl loss and acting like a complete jerk to my family because of it.  How ridiculous is that?  The people who are diehards...well...good for you....the older I have gotten and further away from the Carolina my mind becomes, the less I really care about what happens with the team.

Seems like the "Whiney Millennials" post hurt your boomer feelings.  Sorry to tell yah bud, but I am Generation X.  Like I give a flying fug what you or any other blow hard thinks about me not devoting my entire life to caring about winning a game I have no control over.  "GROW UP FOR NOT CARING ABOUT FOOTBALL AS MUCH AS I DO"   Cry some more boomer.

    • Except it takes those QB's a few years to develop because they needed to learn the mental side of the game and have it catch up to their physical attributes. Bryce was supposed to be a QB savant who already had a fully developed mental side of the game and that was going to make up for his lack of physical ability.  And his lack of NFL level QB physical traits has been clear as day to anyone who has watched him the last 3 years, mainly, he just doesn't have an NFL arm, he can't zip the ball into tight spaces or throw on a line down the field like is needed at this level.
    • Don’t recall seeing many of his interviews but what strikes me is that he engages and goes in depth. Even with the cliche answers as referenced by OP come across somewhat thoughtful.  Very likable personality despite being someone who can crush an average person like I can crush a paper cup. I knew Motons mother had a career at MSU but was looking on the google and found that Mushin Muhammad personally knew Motons grandfather.   His late grandfather was a professor at MSU.   Cool guy.  Interesting family and small world.
    • I think people aren’t patient enough with Young. It can take a few years for a QB to develop. Look at Darnold, Baker and most recently Daniel Jones.   he hasn’t been able to put up big passing numbers either cause of how much we run the ball. You can tell our coaching staff still hasn’t took the training wheels off Bryce and let him go all out. We’ve had some pretty bad receivers as well. We finally got a true number one last year and look how much Bryce improved. Still we didn’t really have any depth behind TMac. Coker was hurt for a lot of the year and XL was our #2. How many big plays or TDs has XL dropped? I think this year can be the year we see Bryce able to hit his stride. If not then we can start looking for another qb but I just ask people to be patient.
