When the Patriots drafted him I knew all the teams prior fuged up. He is the most NFL ready QB from this draft. Better than Darnold and honestly wouldn’t have minded him at our pick or traded down to get. Sorry not sorry.

None of the rookie QBs would do anything with this OL. Mac Jones clearly can play though so the people who were talking all that crazy poo were just ignorant. Patriots always had an OL.

Or maybe they put him in position to look good. He’s made 18 passes this game they don’t rely on him to do much. Their playcalling has him make quick short passes pretty much and dink and dunk offense a majority of the time.

I doubt Mac Jones would do any better switched with Lawrence or Wilson. Fields, maybe. Patriots are doing good job managing his progress. I doubt he would make a difference here with our current personnel.
