Cody Martin (L Ankle/Achilles Soreness) and James Bouknight (R Wrist Sprain) have been listed as doubtful before tonight’s game

Kinda funny Bouknight has a sprained wrist after that debacle on the bench lol

Would love to see Jones and Thor some minutes tonight, but I doubt it happens though. JB will probably just play Hayward, Oubre, Bridges, and Washington more.

So my expectations have gone way down over the past 2 weeks.. and just last night i came to terms with it all.. [tbh, i had to because my mental state was starting to resemble Sundays after a Panthers loss]

anyways, I was originally thinking we could possible get into the Top 6 and maybe win a series.. "Let's trade for Turner to put us over the top!!" - I would say..

but it's obvious now that we aren't 1 piece away.. we are still too young to really compete against good defensive teams and when it gets into games that really matter - aka - playoff atmosphere.. still need to grow

but the future is bright and i am comfortable with that.. for now

We need to do 2 things before anything else. 1. Trade Gordon for an expiring contract, it is clear he is grossly overpaid to contribute what he does. 2. Trade PJ for a big man, his production can be replaced easily.

there is like is a 15% trade kicker in Hayward's deal.. meaning - if we trade him - we have to pay a 15% bonus.. so i doubt Jordan wants to send Hayward out for an expiring contract..

What a dumbass contract!  I know we wanted to get a star, but this guy has never played a whole season.

    • I’m an optimist thru and thru. I love any win this team can muster, and Bryce did what he could to keep the team in it, but he’s why the team was out of it to begin with.  I like the guy, but he is not… he’s just not it… and I was swayed by the way he finished last season, but his physical limitations will never be overcome. A one arm tackle stopped him in his tracks en route for 6, among several other plays where an even average starter in the league succeeds.  A franchise QB is supposed to be his own cheat code. Bryce needs a cheat code dude, that is not him, to win. Chuba CARRIED (literally) his ass last season. Thielen bailed him out EVERY game he played in last season. Today: Rico turned in one of the best games in franchise history, Tet was unguardable and put up at least 100 yards on his own (PI yards included),  and the defense basically pitched a shutout after going down big so they could beat one of the worst teams in the NFL.
    • Jimmy came thru today I hope he is active next week   (2) NFL on X: "Bryce Young to Jimmy Horn Jr. on 4th down! MIAvsCAR on FOX/FOX One https://t.co/HkKw7uXVnt https://t.co/FYOfsxtAMk" / X
    • Rico 10000% saved Bryce Young from being benched for the Dallas game.  The way that game was going there was going to be no way to trot Bryce out next week at home if it kept going like it did.  Bryce probably is safe from bench risk until the next home and home presents itself.    He can’t be playing bad going into that next Atl game and then lay an egg in it.
