Use him for a season or two to get us a few top 5 picks and then we pick our next franchise QB and LT in the draft..

Sam has already been better than Clausen on the field.

Jimmy got us a the #1 pick in the draft, a franchise QB, and a new coaching staff.

After just three NFL starts and being pulled in week 5, Clausen was benched after completing 47 percent of his passes with one touchdown and three interceptions. Clausen also fumbled seven times, losing two, and had a 52.2 passer rating. Clausen finished the 2010 season with 157 completions out of 299 attempts (52.5%), 1,558 yards with 3 touchdowns and 9 interceptions. He was sacked 33 times and fumbled 9 times, losing two.[43]

What is Sam going to get us??

sam is no clausen but yeah you let him finish out the season. if he miraculously rallies then yay, if he tanks us we move on with high draft picks.

Well I didn't mean like literally I know he is a better qb but his decision making are mechanics arent leaps and bound better..more general like he will lead us to the same outcome

Sam just got benched too

Had a 3 pick game

Pretty sure the sack numbers will be similar

Did you see his completion percentage last week?

We arent giving up 3 1st rounders for anyone which is why they pulled out of trade talks. So we will prob have to suffer at least 1 or 2 more years of bad ab play with decisions such as..

    • I would say that seems like an odd comment from Morgan, but at the same time it's almost impossible to find a college QB declaring for the draft to have less physical ability than BY so you can assume almost anyone you bring in would be your go to QB sneak/designed run guy.
    • Gronk is the best TE of all time, but he also played with Brady. Clarke was great, but had Peyton and in an era TE's didn't make crazy money. Kittle is great, but the two times he's made the SB, he was still on his rookie contract for one, and the other the 49ers had Purdy on a cheap rookie deal which help them build the rest of the roster. So again, it's not about not wanting an elite TE, of course it would be nice.  But realistically, in today's NFL, unless that elite TE with a top end TE salary is on a team with a GOAT level QB and/or other serious cap savings (i.e. key players on rookie deals), then I think it's not a good use of cap space.
    • This place was the poo pre tepper with tons of hilarious posters like phillyB. Joined in the 2000s during the 07 season and have been here bitching about this team since. but yeah its sadly been dying a slow death, every time I come to this site I am surprised its still up. I think the 2015 season was the absolute peak, the Panthers and this board especially just haven't "felt" the same since then. Igo should really sell the board since he clearly doesn't care anymore. Also, Reddit blows and the Bryce defenders on there need Jesus.
