Cam would be fun to watch regardless. He would instantly make DJ a top receiver again, they had a great connection.

Actually, they didn't.

DJ averaged 13 yards per reception in Cam's last season.  He averaged 18 yards per reception with Teddy.  Yardage overall nearly identical, but fewer balls meaning fewer hits with Teddy.  I know.  Weird.  But statistically accurate.

Also, Cam always, ALWAYS had a habit of throwing high.  Not great for DJ.

Please stop!  This is not a charity squad for broken players to come in for a feel good tour for the fans.  You are also turning me against one of my favorite players because your fools can't accept reality and LET GO!

fug you for making me feel that way.

Cam has plenty left did'n u see him play last year? he had zero weapons on the pats and a poo defense (which is why Brady left) and he still won more games then us hell he prob takes the pats to the playoffs had he not of gotten Covid which affected him.

No reason to even bother Cam anymore. We should’ve kept him last year but Rhule decided to give Teddy Bridgwater $60 million. Cutting a former MVP Cam for a career backup mediocre QB and paying him that much money. Rhule should’ve been fired on the spot when it happened. You’d think that professional coaches and front office members would be “smart” because they’re professional at what they do. Not so much the case. Imagine having surgery by a doctor who’s not good at his/her job.

Cam isn't CAM anymore.

He's just a guy that wears interesting clothes and gets his dad to interview him

fug it, let's make this season actually interesting.  Let's get real crazy.  None of this half crazy stuff. We once were owners of the record for oldest QB to win a game.  Tom Brady stole that from us.

We once got Vinny T off the couch.  Let's bring back Delhomme for one game.  Just have him throw some classic Delhomme prayers downfield.  That would be entertaining.  He just needs to throw them quick and super high as he might not surive a hit.

Who wouldn't tune in for that.  Every Panther fan would.  Heck, let's bring back skinny Jordan Gross while we are at it.  Let him run some routes for Robby.

He played well in the preseason, and I'd argue last year as well. However, judging by your comment I get the feeling you never thought Cam was a great a player I'd bet.

    • Dude is a debt collector. Fug them both. I asked why anyone cared about this guy at that time and all I got back was he was a local to some people so rah rah. Ok cool.  I agree about the JR part but I have zero reasons to care about Nevaro anymore than Tepper. His kid plays tennis and dad was an old coach. Cool. It's the NFL, they don't sell to great people and there is only 1 team run in the way I would be happy to see which the NFL will never allow again. IMO there was never a good option in that sale.
    • What does Bryce's dad being a psychologist have to do with anything?  Does phycologist proximity make everyone within the aura also qualified to be a phycologist?  Could you just visit a phycologist and become one or does he need to be your Dad?  Are all phycologist equal?  Do any have their own baggage or bias or all they all just perfectly balanced human opinions because they have an education? Also I'm fairly confident, that "Because my Dad said so" doesn't garner much respect in the huddle. Beyond that, I think you're reading Clowney's response wrong anyway.  I think he's saying in the kindest way possible that BY9 hasn't taken command of the team.
    • IDK about that mattering at all in the Panthers sale. This team and it's location affected the interested buying parties. Maybe Tepper would have bought DC but then they could have had another Tepper ready to buy us for 3.85 billion less than the DC sale, whoever took his place in Pitt like he did for Haslam. Neither the Denver (2 billion more) or DC group moved on the Panther's sale. Plus JR was ready to sale before he was pushed out, that was his plan with the NFL which is mandatory to have a clear ownership plan in place, so it wasn't a shock that he was selling.  There is only 1 team that can escape the good old boys club unfortunately. Maybe everyone knew it was gifted to Tepper from the get go or maybe the bigger groups just saw it as not nearly as desirable as Denver or DC. Maybe it's a bit of both.
