  Right into default mode. Same thing you said all off-season and what happened? Every single thing I predicted came true. So anytime you want to compare how high the “bar” is for either of our knowledge, we can do that. How many years you want to go back?

i loved the hire. I thought ruhle was a great candidate. He had shown he could compete in college without the advantage of recruiting, which is the kind of thing that sunk guys like Saban and now Urban. He was very forward thinking and implemented a ton of sports science stuff that I think has merit on its own. He was a huge departure from the usual panthers hire. 

And it really looks like it isn't going to work out. 

At this point if the panthers hired Jim Caldwell I would be thrilled.

      well i could go on & on but i will just highlight it by saying big difference trust me from the SEC & NFL.it's honestly like comparing apples & oranges especially when you are talking about a  LT. in the NFL you are going up against the most athletic freaks of nature the world has to offer . .the NFL also has much more exotic & complicated defensive schemes than what they are used to seeing at Georgis &  finally but most importantly you have to learn how to master complex bio mechanics where the body kick steps instantly as a reaction to these world class athletes rush without really making a conscious effort it's more of a learned muscle memory  & it can take thousands upon thousands of reps to master rproper technique for a LT in the NFL especially if you are still very raw like Monroe Freeling is    ...just saying

      All that being the case or maybe being the case, we do not know Wharton’s timetable n the first place. They are being coy about it. Or maybe not. They say week to week the board says he is terminal lol and must be replaced. Who knows? It may or may not warrant a fairly drastic solution.  Walker is a bargain and we are not well stocked at OL despite recent investments. Freeling has yet to have a single padded practice. Too much speculation driving this plan IMO.

      I would really love to know who’s actually making these moves because it’s weirdly vague who’s doing the hiring and firing.
