By coming out and saying Darnold is going to play this week, it looks like he's going to treat the rest of the year like preseason. Well, except for the part about actually playing guys to see if they might be any good like Brown and BC.

Apparently BC has been taking first team reps at LT this week, shocking as it may sound.  Has Rhule come around?  Probably not, but hey I’ll take anything positive!

Both of whom looked good in preseason when they got the 2nd half of games to play. The offense is definitely looking like a preseason game plan, and it's frustrating players when the opposing D is calling out plays at the line of scrimmage

So many are just overreacting to overreact now.  Have they done some stupid things?  Definitely.   Improve the oline in the offseason and try to figure out the solution for qb and the pieces are already in place to be a borderline great team.  An offensive coordinator who knows how to adjust and be balanced would make a huge impact as well.

See that's the thing. We drafted 2 guys that look promising but we have no idea how they'll actually do because our HC insists on starting absolute trash instead. So now here we are at the end of the season, with only 1 pick in the 1st 3 rounds, and we have no idea what we have in our 2 linemen. Do we draft a LT or could BC actually not be a guard? Is Brown worth starting or developing? Who knows. Oh that's right. Virtually anyone with any type of football IQ watching Rhule constantly put the worst offensive line on the field because the stats say they're versatile.

I do agree they should have played some but it's not always common for rookies to come in and make an instant impact.    Sometimes some time before being thrown in the fire is better.  Again I dont think that is really the case here because it couldnt get much worse but I am saying if you're looking for mid to late round rookies to come in and save you that's not always for the best.

Even though the Panthers backdoored their way into the postseason in 2025 as NFC South champions with an 8-9 record, Young's performance was up-and-down.
