Tepper doesn’t care about $$ on Rhule’s contract as mentioned earlier in the thread.  
 

Tepper wants a stadium. Those are the $$$ that will motivate DT. If he thinks firing Rhule will get him that stadium faster I am sure he will gladly part with a portion of tomorrow’s daily income to make that happen.

Yeah, pride may be it.  

Panthers have never had a four year losing streak until David Tepper.

Panthers have never had a coach with a worse record after two seasons than Matt Rhule.

Panthers have never retained a coach after a season with 5 wins or less until Matt Rhule.

Panthers performance under Dave Tepper these last four years has been worse than mediocre.

Hopefully, Dave comes to terms with Matt Rhule's substandard performance and does the right thing.

Only if there was something in the wings waiting to replace 'em.

As far as we know, there ain't anybody out there right now that Tepper/Fitt are talking to.

Not yet anyway.   And until that happens, Tep is going to let Rhule keep running and digging himself into a hole.... or figuring out The Process with two games left.

Tepper probably spends Matt’s contract on dry cleaning in a year…. It’s not about money.

Its about not wanting to admit you were wrong for hiring someone with almost zero NFL experience and allowing him to be the chief decision maker.
