Anybody that watched that game and puts the blame on the QB is blind or an idiot… or both… we have the worse OL possibly of all time. QB has to shoulder some of the blame, but dropped passes and TERRIBLE OL play is the #1, #2 and #3 problem. Do not draft a QB until we get it figured out up front.

We have to put our selves in unpredictable situations. It is pretty easy when it’s constantly 3-10 or more, the other team knows your passing and they know they can blitz because you don’t have a burner. That’s why it is critical to run the football effectively.

People act like drafting a QB 1st negates drafting any OL. Stop being stupid.

The whole OL vs QB debate gets very tiring. The honest debate is if you think one or the other in the 1st round is absolutely critical. However it becomes more of a hotly contested debate when we don’t have a 2nd or 3rd rounder lol

I don’t see Rhule drafting a qb if he’s around next year. He knows he’ll be starting out on the “hot seat” and can’t afford to put his faith in a rookie.

The problem with fixing the o-line is do you trust a guy who wanted Erving and Elflein to be the one who fixes it?

trading down is the best option. Given what happened last year, seems very realistic.

Not really.  We didnt have any suitors other than the bears and their deal wasnt good enough and that was with Fields and Jones on the board.  Who the fug is giving up a kings ransom at 6 for Kenny fuging pickett?  So now we are just going to trade down for the sake of trading down?  Its illogical

    • Aggressive runner, hits the hole fast, and runs angry.  Just a few yards shy of the single game record for the team.  Absolutely phenomenal performance.  If the gameplan hadn't become weirdly pass heavy for the 3rd and first half of the 4th quarters he might have been flirting with 300.
    • I felt that way before the season started, but I'm sorry, he's already proven he isn't that guy, I don't need to learn anything more about him. He threw the ball 30 times today and could only throw for 198 yards, which was his 2nd best yardage game this year, he's just not the guy. Which means this season has already moved onto the 2nd most important thing going into this season after evaluating Bryce, and that's developing our best young players. You don't do that by only throwing 8 of your 30 passes to your best player who is still only a rookie.  Pepper him with targets and help develop him so he's ready to take a huge leap next year when we get a real HC and QB to get him the ball.
    • Every win comes from a non-sustainable source.  As CRA mentioned, Penix absolutely imploding against ATL, and then today, defense finally clicked and looked the best they’ve looked in a long time (and still have up 24 points lol) and Rico ran for 200+ yards.  We’re not going to get that every week, especially against good teams, which neither Miami or ATL are.  Both MIA and ATL are bad teams and Bryce still couldn’t get it together.  The defense (and team) had to overcome 14 points because of his turnovers again.  That was not even an average QB performance.  We are winning in spite of him.
