i bet we'll get a gutty seven wins

Man you are very optimistic but that's about what I'm predicting. I was thinking 8 wins and close to .500 so it makes Tepper claim the ship is turning around and he keeps Rhule for two more seasons including next. Wethen go through a few more Sam Darnold types at QB and the offensive line continues to suck balls and get whatever QB we put back there killed.

Here comes Jason Garrett at OC and Jimmy G at QB and a repeat of the last two years. I just hope we limit the amount of future assets we let Rhule and Fitterer trade away desperately trying to save their jobs.

Tepper has ran this ship straight into the ground hit bedrock and now he's breaking out the heavy equipment and explosives to keep digging. We are so completely fuged.

Why do u say Jimmy G so much. We can’t afford another qb like that, it will be someone like Trubisky or someone cheap.

Sure we can. We aren't gonna spend any money in the OL.

I doubt it'll be Mitch unless we pay him way too much. Seems like he's taking a smart approach to his career. He took an obvious backup job in a good organization to try to get right. I think he's going to be very careful picking his next shot. He knows it'll likely be his last opportunity to prove himself as a starter. The right situation wasn't there last year. This sure as hell ain't it.

Trading for Watson and not upgrading the line I’m convinced would be a huge mistake. They have to figure out a way to do both and the only way you upgrade this line is with 1st round picks. So you better figure out a way to parlay Burns, Brown, CMC into another 1st round pick.

I'm not sure how we would be able to prioritize improving the offensive line and taking another swing at QB with no 1sts or 2nds for the next few years or cap room. I'm sure Watson or Wilson would be more than happy to line up every Sunday behind our core offensive line of Jordan, Elfein and Miller. It's a David Newton article. He's the John Miller of Panthers beat writers.

    • That argument could be used for actual trolls. “If you don’t like it find somewhere else to post” is just silly. Some of us are just letting you know, you are sounding like a broken record on these threads. It’s just some constructive criticism. You don’t have to change your ways. I doubt you will. Just wanted to make sure you were aware. Feel free to deflect and use one of those GIFs again.
    • It went from he has to jump to he has to bend his hips. That’s changing it. I showed you clips of him throwing deep without jumping which means he doesn’t always have to. I liked and like Stroud better so I’m not really a Bryce defender. Just think you don’t have to make up things when critiquing our QB like he has to jump to throw it deep. There is plenty of ammo there without those exaggerations. Oh yeah the “you don’t know ball” argument. Classic.
    • I get the rookie QB formula and fully expected to see it implemented. Oh well. For the run game there was no or very little under center stuff until a good ways into the year. At least that is how I am remembering it. And no deep throwing - so stacked boxes which you can say chicken or egg on why.  Hard to run like that.  The QB that people said was so great was pulled for a designated Hail Mary thrower. That’s pretty unusual. And may speak to why we saw few deep balls in some part, along with the OL. To ignore that stuff means you aren’t working with all of the information when you try to mentally model or project what it might be like on the field.  Me, I have a slice of hope that he could maybe be NFL average but getting him to be a plus type of QB is a huge job. It depends on designing the playbook with certain values at the foundation that have to be adhered to first . You have to integrate the other pieces around this one guy’s skill set because he is a real outlier. And he has to learn the under center skill set. Maybe put that Only Positive thread back up people can go there if they don’t want to deal with rightly frustrated fans.
