Sad -but understandable - day for the Panthers social media team (still, the best in the biz)

Kinda explains why it felt like this week's Panthers social feed felt a little quieter than normal this past week. Amie will be sorely missed by lots of us, but can't hate her reasoning.

Amie Kiehn, the wizard behind the Panthers’ entertaining social media feeds, stepped down from her coveted job last week to spend more time with her 3-year-old son. We wanted to give her a little space to say goodbye.

Good for her. I wish her and her family well. She did a great job but it couldn't have been a fun job in recent years.

Social media can be pretty toxic but the Panthers SM team does a good job. One of the best in the biz.

That’s too bad. She was amazing. Me and my family got to meet the whole social media team as my son filmed a video for them a few years ago. They were all really awesome. Amie especially.

@PanthersATLThanks for the link.  That was a very good read.  I also recommend the story that is linked in the article about the birth and life of her son who was born very premature.

If that's the case, then you don't need Twitter, IG, YT or even a website. Everything I mentioned is for fan interest, and information in general. Moreover, one could argue that the website generates the most worthless propaganda of all, depending how you look at it of course.

She kept the posts real and fun while understanding the role as the media arm for the team. She even helped me get blue checked on IG a few months ago. She was a class act and a really good person.
