Not a fan btw. But fug it ...no choice now. Bright side being he's been a QB, TE and Oline coach in the past...so maybe we get some quality assistants out of this.

Fun fact: Last time he was a coordinator against us was Cam's mvp year. The Josh Norman/Odell game. Iirc, besides that second falcons game, that's the only game I didnt think our defense could stop.

Looking at our schedule and QB situation, I fully expect this guy to be our new interim head coach after the bye week.

OMG Im so fuging hyped up.  I could juice a lemon on these nipples, fuging insane amounts of hype generated around BEN MACADOO!  I hope I can contain myself, he's basically the only person I've ever wanted as an OC!  I mean, I would let him sleep with my wife, its pretty much the best moment in panthers history and I cant contain my excitement....I might have been a little sarcastic...

Actually, we were up 38-7 and its still amazing we didnt lose that game. They did it tie it up 38-38 by the fourth but Gano hit an almost 50 yard FG for that win.

We probably should have lost, Odell drops would b touchdown over Norman.. Eli underthrows Odell on a would be TD, CAP fumbling in giants territory. The dropped pick 6 by the giants.

Mcadoo as a coordinator that game was impressive. Take Beckham out the picture and it gets horrific though. He had way too much speed for Norman or Peanut to cover. Very impressive comeback but if you inserted him (McAdoo) in our offense this past season ...our results wouldnt have varied much.

Giants just happened to have Ben McAdoo, a pretty good Oline, a "game changing" WR, and a Manning at QB.

We currently have 1 of those 4. Would have loved to hear his pitch to Rhule & Fit though... esp considering I've heard he wasnt a fan of Sam. That might just be speculation

    • Down to Carolina and Washington for Ehlers.
    • Who are your top three breakout candidates for next season?    My three: Jatavion Sanders- Simply put he is the best receiving TE we have had since Olsen. We all saw his potential over that three game stretch prior to his neck injury where he showed a real connection with Bryce. Good route runner with glue for hands, limited blocking upside but he gives solid effort. With Tremble already being hurt I don’t see a reason why he already isn’t our starter and clear future at TE. Trevin Wallace- For a developmental LB forced into a starting role last year he  exceeded expectations. LB is one of the hardest positions to adjust to from college, and for a prospect who was widely regarded as very raw, surprisingly he was solid in coverage and only had an 11.9% missed tackle rate. He was overly aggressive consistently, and needs to work on his play recognition. But he is set up to be our best LB next season, and likely starter for years ahead. Even barring reaching his upside, his floor was clearly a lot higher than draft pundits assumed(Morgan can scout LBS). Cade Mayes- I am hopeful Cade wins the starting job at C this season. He may have been our most improved player last season, he looked like an above average starting C after he took over for an injured Corbett. He allowed 0 sacks on 327 pass block snaps. Corbett can not stay healthy, and at this stage in his career Mayes is objectively the better player. Mayes is only 26 and gives us the potential of stability at C, something we have never had since Ryan Kalil retired. Corbett slots in as a great backup C/Guard, and Cade continues to develop and gain more chemistry with Bryce and our stud duo of Hunt/Lewis.
    • Have to pair them like this for it to work, imo. Slavin - Miller Nikishin - Walker Ghosty - Chatfield    I'd prefer something different but that's probably what we end up with unless Ghost is traded to one of the 17 teams not on his MNTC.
