The special teams call cost the Bills. There is no way, no way you don’t squib the kickoff with 13 seconds left. Dumbest poo I have ever seen. Also, why not just rush 3 and drop 8, I guess I don’t understand?

Yeah I was about to make the same point on the kickoff. You can't kick a touch back with 13 seconds. Forcing a return would run at least 3 or 4 seconds off the clock and then KC only has time for 1 play before a fg or hail mary. Unfortunate. I'm sure McDermott is going to lose a lot of sleep second guessing himself on the end of that game.

Josh Allen is an all time talent, Mahommes is a product of Andy Reid TBH. Josh is basically the entire Bills offense and dragged this trash ass team to the brink of victory.

That is like saying Tom Brady is a product of Bill Belichick.  Mahomes is the real deal.

Is it better to be a Panther fan or just enjoy the game of football without aligning with a certain team?

These playoffs and the current state of our team, I'm seriously questioning it.

I gave up on NFL fandom about 4-5 years ago so I could enjoy a good game without investment.

Makes for a happier, healthy life.

I think that's understating the playmaking ability of guys like Hill but yes, no question that an elite QB makes a world of difference. This game doesn't happen without both of those guys.

Reid may have unlocked Mahomes but I don't know how you say that given all of the plays that Mahomes has singlehandedly create over the years. If anything he's an example of what elite talent in an undeveloped package can accomplish with proper coaching, much like Allen in Buffalo.

This.

Saying Mahomes is just a product of Andy Reid is low football IQ

Tyreek Hill is like a bigger version of that return man Hall they had plus elite receiving skills.

Dante.  Dante had similar quicks, with jukes, stop and start ability etc, but his speed wasnt particularly close if I recall. T. Hill has both.

Brady did just last season. Rodgers definitely can if he goes to a stacked team like Brady did last year. Rodgers with Payton is my nightmare since those 2 for a season with their stacked OL, Michael Thomas and Kamara could hang with anyone easily.

Brady defense carried him in the playoffs last season and everyone knows it.

Bucs lost by being too aggressive.

Bills lost by not being aggressive enough.

The football Gods are fickle.

Yes as much as I hate prevent D, theres a reason teams do it... Plus only the times that prevent D fails to work do people highlight them. The times that it works people are quiet.

That said theres a happy medium.

100% but he did enough along with that D to beat the Chiefs led by Mahomes. Can Brady hang with Mahomes/Allen when they’re putting up 30-40+ points like this? No of course not but these guys aren’t gonna put up these efforts every single game. As we saw from the SB last year

Regardless of the result Josh Allen is top 1-2 QB in the league

Hang in there!  Your team just played one of the best playoff games in history.  Somebody had to lose unfortunately.  Josh Allen is a future MVP IMO.

    • https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/47371200/sources-rams-fire-special-teams-coordinator-chase-blackburn LOS ANGELES -- The Los Angeles Rams have fired special teams coordinator Chase Blackburn, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter. The move marks the first in-season coaching change that Rams head coach Sean McVay has made in his nine seasons in Los Angeles. Rams assistant special teams coach Ben Kotwica will take over and become the lead special teams coach, a source told Schefter. The Rams, 11-4 and second place in the NFC West, lost to the Seahawks on Thursday night in a game that included a Seattle punt return for a touchdown and a missed 48-yard field goal by Los Angeles kicker Harrison Mevis. The Seahawks (12-3) overtook the Rams for first place in the division and the top overall record in the NFC thanks to the 38-37 overtime victory. Though the Rams have lost only four games this season, three have involved special teams miscues. In the Rams' first loss of the season, 33-26 to the Eagles, Los Angeles had its final two offensive possessions end with blocked kicks. In the Rams' Week 10 victory over the Saints, kicker Joshua Karty missed an extra point and a 39-yard field goal attempt. After the game, McVay said the Rams' special teams issues "can't continue like this." Los Angeles replaced long-snapper Alex Ward with Jake McQuaide and Karty with Mevis, who had not missed a kick until Thursday night in Seattle. Blackburn, 42, was in his third season as the Rams' special teams coordinator. A former linebacker for the Giants and Panthers, he also has worked as an assistant with Carolina and Tennessee.
    • It was a bad play from Icky but the OL didn't give up a sack until late in the 4th quarter and Bryce just stood there like he was canatonic. If our 3rd year number one overall pick can't overcome one single sack against a rebuilding Saints team that should only have 2 wins this season then it isn't ever going to happen   This is your quote. I mean I’ve quoted it twice. It was followed by calling people that defended him fugers and several other meltdowns I can also quote.    Shame you for working for a living??? Wow this is a whole new level to your victim mentality thing you like to do. You don’t have to watch games live. Or don’t spend an entire thread arguing about something you didn’t get the full picture of. I miss parts of games all the time. That’s just life. Not even going into the whole losing all respect thing.
    • Rams ended up firing ST coach and former Panthers coach Chase Blackburn after the loss. Sounds all too familiar.
